Ego Power+ Snow Blower 21" Single Stage With Two 5.0Ah Batteries

It works well. Would like to have self propelled drive. But works fine on driveway, sidewalks, and deck. I need to push hard to do the path to my propane tank for heat in my house. Really blows snow far!

I have 8 car driveway and this electric 1 stage blower in perfect for my needs. It can handle snow depth up to 12 inches with confidence and the battery system is plug and play. I like that I have the option of using 1 battery first and alternate OR run both batteries are more intensity. Compact and relatively light design. Reduced noise for morning work. This was exactly what I was looking for.

First time operating my snowblower and was happy with the overall performance. Battery life was a little shorter than expected due mainly me getting used to it and the snow being heavier than normal. Can’t wait to use it after a dryer more powdered snowfall.

The title says it all. I still like my Toro 18" electric snow thrower I've had for years but just got tired of tripping over and constantly moving the cord out of the way. The only drawback I have with the EGO is it's a little heavier than I'd hoped. Whereas I can easily pop the Toro from the sidewalk up onto my deck, the EGO isn't quite as nimble. Definitely not a deal (or back) breaker though, especially for a younger person.

I am really impressed with this snowblower. For being a one-stage, it works great. It does push some snow in front of it, but not a lot. If I were using my snow shovel, that's normally what I would do is push the snow. Using this blower made it so much faster!! I use it on the pad in front of our three car garage and it only takes maybe 10 minutes to get it done.

I received this snowblower as a gift, though if I were to buy one myself, I would buy one of the more premium higher power models. It definitely does a good job, removing light snow and medium snow but anything slushy or heavy it gets clogged quite easily. And that's an issue with the paddle. Again, if I were to buy a snowblower or I could choose, I would buy one of the EGO'S that has the auger instead of the flip paddle. Batteries are on the lower end, but with two, I can still do my small driveway, my neighbor's driveway in a little bit on the road. It does suck at removing the windrows, however. But otherwise, this is still a good snowblower to use.

This is a great product. First off it was easy to purchase, get it home and set it up. We had a small snowfall when I used it for the first time. The snow blower performed very well and there was still plenty of charge left when I was done. Only issue was there seemed to be a lot of snow being blown forward instead of going out through the chute. The second snowfall was more intense leaving about 3 to 4 inches of snow on the driveway. Again the blower performed very well but with the issue of some snow blowing out the front instead of out the chute. Again still a lot of power in the batteries when done even after running for about 25 minutes.

Machine is agile, light and very manoeurable but does not throw snow anywhere near the advertised distances even with the chute deflector in the upright position. I have used the machine 3 times since purchasing it Dec. 28 and never has the snow been blown for more than 10 feet. We haven't had any wet snow fall yet and I fear the distance thrown with heavy snow would really be decreased. The dirty snow that is thrown is the telling evidence that the snow is not blown more than 10 feet; the snow beyond the dirty snow is pristine white. Other than this disappointing weakness, the machine works very quietly and makes snow removal an easier job. I just hope we don't get so much snow that a snow wall builds up and the machine cannot blow snow beyond that snow wall just 10 feet away.

We haven’t had a significant amount of snow since 2022 when I bought the snow blower. I used it about 3 or 4 times that year. It came with two 5ah batteries that were properly stored (they self discharge to about 30% if not used) and kept them off the charger. When I used it for the last big storm the batteries took one charge and then started flashing red at the next charge attempt, refusing to take a charge. They can’t have more than 20 charge cycles on them. I can’t recommend this at all.

We bought this snowblower hoping to have an appliance that would make removing snow easier for my elderly parents. It worked nicely the first couple of uses but when the weather got cold it did not work at all. We have yet to be able to get it to turn on after the initial runs.
