Ego Power+ String Trimmer Kit 16 Line Iq With Powerload

Happy with the power and efficiency in which it trims. Really like the auto feed line; no more wasted time trying the feed the line. Also, appreciate how battery can be used in alll Ego products.

The string trimmer is powerful, offers good life even on a 4A battery, and works very well. Highly recommended. This well thought through design coupled with its performance obsoletes the gas string trimmer and makes string trimming a simpler and less demanding task.

Only used twice but results so far are excellent. Battery lasts long enough to do all the edging needed on our 1 acre property. Motor seems very powerful, the auto feed takes a little getting used to as I was used to the slap-feed style but it works well.

We went to our local hardware store to get a new weed eater. This one and the gas powered other brand were the same price but there was also a deal with this one that you get an additional battery with it. We currently have a cheaper battery opperated weed eater and the batteries dont last long at all. we would go through 3 batteries to do our property....NOT THIS ONE!! This EGO weed eater did our entire property (2acres) and only used 2 of the 6 battery bars of life!! I love that there are warranties on both the weed eater itself and both batteries AND charger for the batteries!! Money well spent and would highly recmomend this to anyone looking for a new weed eater!! (especially with these rising gas prices). its light weight (but has weight to it but my 5 foot tall self can use it without issues). My husband loves this!! Great investment!

Trimmer has power to eat up all kinds of weeds, small and big. Love the ability to load line with the feed button, works great and easy to use. Automatic line feed also very handy and no more bumping head to feed line. Battery has very good capacity and charges fast and efficiently.

It was with resistance I delayed buying an battery operated trimmer but I have had my poulan trimmer for over 30 years not and it's time. Honestly I'm impressed beyond belief with performance of the Ego trimmer, lots of power and longevity of the battery, it just keeps going and going. I'm looking into another purchase now of the Ego Leaf Blower while they have the battery special going on. I'm hooked...

Takes time to learn its advantages and optimum benefits. Very good if one can trim in specific zone but too much power for more demanding areas, as lawn in on incline with need for delicacy in some areas - something this trimmer requires experience to manage. Trimmer is heavy and that also requires dexterity and experience as it’s not intuitive. Over an exceptional trimmer but too much power for my requirements.

We recently bought this because we are big fans of all Ego products. Unfortunately, we had to sell it because it was way too long for us to use due to being shorter and having some physical difficulties. It would be really great to have a smaller version of this product for short or smaller people. It was way too awkward to use.

I've now used this trimmer twice on my property. I definitely like the no-bump feature, but I'm also finding it quite a bit heavier than my previous EGO trimmer. The extra weight makes it especially difficult when I want to use it vertically to achieve a precise lawn edge. Ergonomically, it might be easier if the head could just twist, rather than forcing me to twist the entire trimmer. I haven't yet needed to use the Power-Load feature, but I think that's going to be considerably easier than the old method.

Ego products have great quality and last along time. However I do not care for the way the trimmer reverses backwards to other trimmers and also the cover design blocks my view of the line when I am edging my grass in a vertical position. Otherwise a great trimmer and so far LineIQ works well once I got used to it
