We like everything about our Zero turn thus far. Cuts our 2/3 acre with at least 30% battery charge left. Maneuvers great and cuts as good or better than regular gas powered zero turn mowers. My only complaint is that I had to order the bumper and arm rests separate and that it does come with the dampening/cushion ride seat. The dampening seat base sold separately as well. Very happy despite that.
First riding mower and I love it. So easy to learn how to drive. Great maneuverability and very responsive. Able to mow my 3/4 acre with about 80% battery usage. Easy to clean. Quiet!!
I really like the mower. Getting used to something so quiet takes a minute, but it is doing well. I have a large property, so the battery life is very important. It's great I can see how much battery I have left is excellent. Thr only issue was getting it off the crate it was shipped in. But, once that was done, everything else was easy.
I have recently purchased this zero turn and have been enjoying it very much so far. I am getting use to the driving and it seems easy enough. I primarily use my tractor in the fall to pick up all the leaves in the yard, so I purchased the bag attachment and the connected very easily. I also go a mulch plug to use when needed. I have many other products as well a trimmer, lawnmower and blower. I have now given my gas power equipment to my son n law.
Started with 3 blowers, chain saw, weed eater, lighting, push mower, and now the ZTR. I have had gas ZTRs for over 10 years now. But when I took off on the EGO I was very jerky until I realized the levers had a much shorter patten then my gas mower. My gas mower lever would go forward about a foot, the Ego only goes about 6 inches. Once I realized instead of half speed I was flooring it the driving got a lot better. I do recommend setting the Mode to CONTRL instead of standard or sport until you get a good feeling about the levers. And even set the speed at the lowest setting also. The recharging is great also. I mowed about a half acre and the batteries were still at about 52 percent. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I have mowed with it several times now. Great cut quality and very quiet. Love how it handles. Battery range is decent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is so zippy. I have to be careful not to go too fast to maintain control. I does a nice job of cutting too, and the fact that it is so quiet makes me a happy mower!!
I have only used this mower once. It cut well and battery usage time is good. As per recommendations, I ran it in control mode. However I found the throttle and steering to be more sensitive than expected. I am guessing that control will come with experience.
I've had this for a couple of weeks. It's quieter than expected. You can hear the dandelion heads hitting the mower deck! Cut is great! By far the best cut of any mower I've used. Maneuverability is excellent. The wall mounted charger is very convenient. I think the expected range of 1.5 acres is overly optimistic. I have half that and use 70% charge running at the lowest blade speed in standard driving mode.
Being a new driver, I wish the neutral zone was a little larger/pronounced. Controls are overly sensitive and prone to overcorrection. As I get used to it, I would be fine with the set up as is but this initial phase makes an uncomfortable experience.
