Ego Select Cut Cordless Lawn Mower 21" Self Propelled Kit

I like that the handle is adjustable height. I'm tall and I appreciate the high handle. I like the way this mower can easily convert into 3 different types, bag, mulch or side chute.

Crazy how quiet this is. Seems to cut well so far. Very easy to maneuver around with the yard with it. I have plenty of battery for my yard, but my yard is only 1/10 acres. If your yard is small enough to consider a push mower, Im sure the battery will give you enough life.

I purchased it earlier in the week, took my time watching a you tube video, as instructions not clear to me. Too my time, quickly found out how fast 3 miles per hour is (its quick). Told my husband I should have got it last year. I no longer have to worry about hurting my arm/shoulder with my old gas mower. I am 75 and love this mower.

Debated on waiting and purchasing the DeWalt 60v mower because I'm already in their ecosystem but I'm only using it for my residential home not work. After reading the reviews on this and my father stating his is still like new after 4 years I made the impulse and don't regret it. Thing is light as a feather and so much easier than an old style gas mower. Plus you don't feel like an ahole cutting grass at 6 am anymore

I bought this mower about a month ago and am very unhappy with the ergonomics of having to hold the start lever with my hand and then use my thumbs for the self propulsion. Causes a lot pain in my hands when mowing and for days after. The mower is also very difficult to turn.

The mower is quiet and the battery charging is easy and efficient. I'm disappointed with the discharge chute and the discharging of the grass. The chute doesn't tightly secure to the mower and the grass doesn't propel out of the mower. It just seems to clump and fall out a short distance away.

The self propelled system is awful. The controls work only about half the time and is slow to respond.

I have used this to mow our small almost lay flat yard and if the grass is the least bit tall, the mower leaves an uncut strip down the center. Very disappointing. It does better if bagging and not mulching. Ego claims 60 minute run time on this mover with the included battery but I get no where near that. Without using the self propelled feature on can finish my lawn in 40-45 minutes with the battery showing 20% percent or less. With self propelled feature, on maybe 30 of the 45 minutes I get about 3/4 of the way through and the battery runs out.

The handle bar is too high for my 5' 6" height. Why cant the handle bar be lower to lowest hole to activate the lawnmower? Had difficulty turning around at end of row with self-drive. Hard to adjust speed with knob on handle. No work instruction on how to mow with high handle bar and self-drive. Not happy with that mower. Why can't the engineer test and improve the design????

The mower didn't have the safety flap as indicated on page 19 of the user's manual. Only had two of the four blades, and there was other missing pieces. I attempted to contact EGO and like their mower, it was crappy No one bothered to call me back. For the cost of the machine, I expected more from EGO ...
