The dark Italian espresso beans are delicious! I like a robust cup of coffee—these beans grind beautifully. The drip coffee tastes yummy while the aroma fills the whole house! I highly recommend this brand if you like the same you won't be disappointed.
This is the best whole bean espresso dark roast available in my opinion! I want my coffee strong enough to stand up to my creamer, and this coffee does that perfectly. Smooth, rich, and bold with no bitterness. The price is amazing considering the quality of the beans. I hope to be a fan for another 20 years.
This coffee punches way above its weight !! We are used to boutique dark roast coffee which comes with the boutique high price. Eight o'clock is just as good, to our taste, without the high price. Bravo Eight O'clock !!
Dark Italian Espresso is hands down the best coffee... It blows Starbucks beans out of the water. Other icky brands like Folgers and Maxwell House truly taste like dust after drinking the dark Italian espresso. For my family this is our go to! We use it not only as a classic cup of rich deeply flavored coffee. We also use this in our espresso machine. We use it in Lattes, Cappuccinos, and Mochas. However, the flavor is so full and so amazing that we've started drinking it as a double shot americano with no cream. AMAZING.
My grand parents, came from Italy, my grandmother would grind the fresh beans in the hand crank grinder then put it in an aluminum pot with water on stove. She would then filtered the grinds out and the whole house smelled of fresh coffee. She served the coffee in the little coffee cup. This coffee taste the same as my childhood coffee.
We make a whole pot every morning and drink it all. If we don't finish it we make ice coffee to go. We have tried fresh brewed many places, and none is as good as ours. Our Cuisinart coffee maker grinds the beans, and brews them. We just fill it and set to the timed button and by the time we are done showering in the morning it is ready. Nothing better. Everything at the stores tastes like watered day old coffee compared to the rich flavor of the Dark Italian Espresso. We buy on line and save a bundle. Will never buy anything else.
One of my favorite coffees. Happy it was a (2) pack and whole bean. Full body brew. Good for coffee drip makers and espresso machines
Wow.... I love Eight-O-Clock. I practically grew 8p on it when A%26P had the machines years ago that you could grind your own fresh coffee right there in the store and bag it too. The good ole days! The Original and the Columbian kinds are both great butfor the first time I thought I'd try this Italian Dark and its more than horrible! I've had some dark coffee thats not too bad... normally I stick with medium but y his is like way too dark. The flavor is terrible! Unless you like your coffee super dark black . I mean midnight pitch dark black! Then do not even bother trying this stuff. I told Walmart how much I hated it and they were kind enough to refund my money. No questions asked. Thats why I love shopping Walmart. They have the best customer service of any company I know of!
The methods now used to harvest and roast beans have destroyed the flavor of most whole beans I have tried. Eight OClock was always a reliable product. I guess I'm old but I recall the fragrant aroma of the coffee aisle. That's no more.
Coffee is really strong. No good
