Fits over my large head and thick hair. 22 and 1/2 inches or so. Brim is wide and it is a roomy fit. Sun protection hats can run up to one hundred dollars. This is a good alternative. A few notes—I'm not sure if the top of the hat or the ventilation sides give you the protection you need . The brim does act as a protective shade device and is thick enough to block the sun. If you are at a high risk for skin cancer —you made want to get a sun hat from Solumbra -they are registered medical devices. So please be careful out there and safe in the sun.

I think it's a fine hat and I will run through the pros and cons below. Pros: Full sun protection, I like the style, provides shade, the size is fine and fits my adult head, coloring and vents are great, Cons: I wish it was heavier, it's a little lite and feels like it will blow away, but it does have a strap that does help.

I haven't used this Sun hat on a real outing as of yet but have tried it on and gave it a short test... I think it will meet all my needs. I'm in the Southwest and I have Lupus, the sun and heat wears me out, this will help to provide some protection. I have a small head but the hat adjustment allows me to snug this up for a good fit. The wide brim provides good coverage from the sun.

This sun hat is perfect. it fits my head good and has a very wide brim to block the Sun especially on the back of my neck. I usually wear a ball cap but I'm starting to be more careful out in the sun and wanted more protection. I actually like it and prefer it now instead of the ball cap. I really wish I would have thought about getting one sooner. it keeps the sun off my head and actually keeps me cooler as well. I've already purchased a second one the same brand and plan to buy more in different colors. the only thing I would like to see is them offer fluorescence green and orange. my house is on a busy road and I like cars to be able to see me when I'm working down by the road mowing grass etc. I would absolutely recommend this product. it also appears to be made very adorable and I've had no issues with it at all after a couple weeks of using it while working outdoors. I have tried a few other brands of sun hats but have returned all the other ones this brand is the only one I like so far. I think anyone man or woman would be very happy with this hat and color options and definitely the price it's well worth it. I'm also less worried about not having enough sunscreen on or having to reapply it so often and or sweating sunscreen into your eyes.

This hat is perfect. very large brim keeps the sun off my neck and it's very comfortable. I just wish it came in fluorescent colors for outdoor work near roads

this is like wearing an umbrella although your hands are free. take some time for it to shape itself and it will. use strap if windy though. i like it. thanks

This hat has a large brim, so it will protect your face and the back of your next from the sun. While the head enclosure is lightweight, the brim is fairly heavy, so it should stand up to a decent wind. I am very happy with this purchase. It is also important to note that I found the same hat elsewhere online, and it was cheaper here. It fill fit a large head.

Good hat. Easy to fit. Easy to adjust. Great ventilation and sun protection. One small thing, the "sweat band" won't stay up when you move the hat around on your head. Wasn't a noticeable problem for me. Found out by accident so it doesn't affect my wearing. Overall, I like it.

Pro: Cheap sun protection. Cons: Too large, the elastic headband doesn't adjust to your head, the brim is wide and unwieldy, and the "hinge" (for ease of folding) is too floppy.
