This bagel was really tasty, with a fluffy, thick texture that I loved. The quality definitely stood out, and I would absolutely buy it again. The only thing to note is that it isn't pre-sliced—you'll need to cut it yourself, similar to fresh bakery-style bagels. That said, it's not a deal breaker at all for the quality you're getting.
I've loved Einstein bagels since college, unfortunately there are no Einstein bagels within several hours of where I live. When I saw these at Walmart, I was excited. They were good in the toaster almost as good as I remember them. But when I got a tip to put them in the oven and bake for five minutes at350F I tried them in my air fryer at the bake setting for five minutes at 350 and now the texture is perfect! Amazing!! Enjoy!!
These are probably the best bagels I have ever eaten! Not a big “bread” person but I love these. I like the fact that you can toast them and the outside part stays soft. So delicious! 👌
Favorite bagels. Taste great, good texture. Delicious. Comes in a few flavors, blueberries, raisins, cinnamon and everything. I love the plain toasted.
I thought that by buying from a bagel store rather than off the grocery shelf I'd get a more authentic bagel... but no. These have a denser, drier texture. (Maybe they were stale.) I enjoy my usual Thomas's. brand far more than these. Also, they are not pre-sliced. Even my serated bread knife made a crumbly mess of them. Won't buy them again.
I was extremely excited to try these bagels since I normally just buy the store brand plain bagels. I was a little disappointed to find that these bagels are not sliced. Also to me, they taste exactly the same as the store brand bagels, but cost about 30% more
Tastes better than Thomas brand, but being uncut, these bagels are a messy pain. And they cost more than the other brands offered. I think I will buy the cheaper, already cut variety in the future. Not just to save money and mess, but because most of the flavor comes from the cream cheese that I pair my bagels with anyway. (i.e. chive and onion, garlic and herb, etc)
I had huge hopes for these bagels because (1) I'm so tired of other grocery store bagels, and (2) I love Einstein bagels in their stores. But even with 500 mg of sodium (yikes on bikes!) the plain is soooo bland and a little bitter. I've had plain bagels with more flavor, and maybe the bitterness comes from so much salt? I don't know, but I'm so disappointed.
Be careful. They don't check expiration dates well %26 my shopper picked a completely molded bag of bagels, I can't see how they missed this AND this is not the first time this happened!!
I purchased this on 8/10 and the fresh was date is 8/6/25. I wish they even gave me one from 8/10 rather than 8/6
