This was a gft to my grandson and his little brother they really enjoyed playing with the walkie talkie set and couldn't put it down they are well made and durable.

Birthday Gift for Son
My son (8) received these for a birthday gift and I was impressed at the quality for a kids set. The transmission is clear and surprisingly transmits more than 800 ft. (at least where we are at). There is no volume dial but is a high enough fixed volume that kids can hear themselves when playing loudly and not disturb adult conversations simultaneously. I'm an impressed and happy dad, and most importantly my son is thrilled!

These walkie talkies are excellent ideal gifts for birthdays Christmases and anytime gifts if you are a true Star wars fan like me I suggest them to everybody have fun

Can I exchange them since they were a gift from Amazon?
We got this as a gift from Amazon. The Storm Trooper is muffled, so you can't understand what is being said from him, but it can send messages to Darth Vader fine. Darth Vader doesn't appear to have anything wrong with him. Not sure if I can get them exchanged or know if there is a quick fix to this? Do I need to go through Amazon?

Poor experience
Right out of the packaging, one of the walkie talkies doesn't work at all. The volume is extremely low and goes in and out all together. Also, I have Transformers One walkie talkies and this warranty card was inside of the packaging and they don't even have Transformers listed under the available brands.

The darth talkie doesn't work
I just opened the package after putting batteries in them the only one that would work is the storm trooper. You could hear the transmission on the darth talkie but when you tried returning one from darth to the trooper it wouldn't work. I switched batteries and no luck. Quite disappointing since the boys were excited to play with them
