You will need a phillips head screwdriver. and a drill for any necessary pilot holes. There are warnings about the R32 Refrigerant used in this model-read them thoroughly and follow them carefully. This A/C unit requires 14.5" height clearance and has accordion side panels to accommodate a 23-34" window width. The plug meets requirements for US National Electric Code 440.65. The controls are manual with 7 temperature settings and 2 fan modes and 2 cooling modes. Two louvered deflectors allow you to direct the air flow for your comfort. A washable air filter is included. The cold air output is very good for an A/C unit this size. It is not very quiet, only 4 stars for noise level.
