El Mexicano Cotija Queso Anejo, Aged Grating Cheese, 10 oz Refrigerated

Delicious cheese. Flavor and texture are sort of a cross between Parmesan and Feta. Fabulous grated over pasta dishes, salads and soups. Pairs well with fruit, especially pears, served along with a pinot or chardonnay wine. And least I forget, a must for Mexican cuisine.

My family is Mexican, we always buy another brand but I was making an order at Walmart and decided to just order this one. Now my family has switched to this one because it's less salty, dry but still feels fresher than the super dry one at the Mexican stores and it's about the same in price. We use it for cooking and for topping foods.

It's so so so good better then buying at a Mexican store deli why because doesn't smell or taste like the surrounding meats or that it's been sitting out so yes this one is so so yummy and stinky and great just like a good cotija should I love it!

This is a lot of cheese, at least for us when I made fish tacos for family dinner night. Make sure you have a cheese grater. I vacuum sealed it, so hopefully it's still good next time we need it.

This cheese is the best! Goes perfect with fried Plantain. Cut slices and fry in pan on both sides. Enjoy this combination. It's sooo Goood!!

I have used the El Mexicano Brand for years. I will not use anything else. The taste is second to none.

I love this cheese for tacos! It's pretty salty (as it's supposed to be) and easily crumbles using your hands.

Tastes great but barely lasted a week well-stored in my fridge. Moldy as all get down, totally expired and grody. Trash can donation is all I've got to say
