El Monterey Bean & Cheese Burritos, 32 oz, 8 Count (Frozen)

Good, it tastes fine. A very, very thick tortilla. The filling is nice, although this is the first time I'd ever hoped for more filling. It's quite skimpy.

I got these as a quick easy snack idea, they shockingly turned out to be pretty good, even with just using the microwave or air fryer. Now I did try something silly and deep fried some one nigh, I had oil heated up for something else, so I deep fried a few. That was amazing, but definitely not worth that much hassle for a quick snack.

I liked the flavor. Just enough spice to give it flavor, but not so much that it the mouth of people like me. You can always add your own hot sauce. Enough beans. I could taste the cheese but it could use a little more. They are lose in the bag and I prefer individual wrappers or 2 in a bag. That would raise the price though.

If microwaved, these can be more chewy, sometimes tough on the ends. However, if covered with a bit of sauce [I use Great Value Red Enchilada Sauce] that is not a problem. In the oven they do very well, taste and texture is fine. Not too spicy - add some heat sauce if you like it. They do well as a quick snack [one] or very well as a dinner [two] on a plate with that sauce. For the price, they are very affordable.

These are wonderful when prepared in the air fryer! They are crispy and tender outside, the filling hot and delicious. They deserve 5 stars. But prepared in the microwave these are really bad, the outside partly hardened and partly soggy, 1 star rating.

El monterey bean and cheese are ok quick microwave snack but i found original is best as it there chicken style. Cheese style for me oozes out more a mess. No matter which bag of these you buy always grab great value sour cream to add or dip that in. Makes it a better experience with sour cream. 2 min on high and you got bean burrito.

I have bought there burritos for years and usuallt love them. However, my most recent pack has me concerned. At least 1 burrito in the pack had chunks of clear thick goo. I am thankful I saw it before eating it! I would like to know what this is.

Thesw used to be a quick, convenient little snack that I loved for years, but unfortunately, not anymore. IDK if they changed their recipe or not, but now they're tough to cut and chew, and they have very little flavor. i don't recommend these at all.

I can eat some pretty bland food And even bad pizza. But these things are friggen horrendous. They are god awful and the only way I would ever order them again is if it was the last item available to eat on this planet. It's hard to choke these down

These burritos are not edible unless extremely hungry. after several years of trying them occasionally they just get worse than the last time I tried them. I'll throw the rest of them in the garbage
