El Monterey Chili Cheese Chimichangas, 30.4 oz, 8 Count (Frozen)

I delight in savory foods. Frozen burritos and chimichangas have been one of my most indulged guilty pleasures for most of 50 years. Another is a bowl of good, rich chili. So, when these came on the scene earlier this year, I was very hopeful. The store had all of the El Monterey burritos %26 chimichangas marked down, except this flavor, but I had to try them. The aroma from the microwave was just plain seductive, and the flavor is everything the aroma was promising. Topping it with pico de gallo, some good salsa, or a drop or two of lime juice with some guacamole and sour cream is a miniature fiesta. The stores mostly still don't mark down the price of these when all of the other flavors go on sale, but I don't care; I buy them! My only disappointment is that they don't come in a 24 pack; I am utterly enamoured.

Or dinner too! Love the combo of bean, beef, and cheese with the chili cheese twist! These were a hit with my family and I've ordered them again for another chimi night!

Should be $1.98/$2 but with all the tariffs the price is DEFINITELY Over priced for sure but flavor is pretty good to me. Should have more real beans not refried and definitely real cheese!!!

The flavor was perfect just add some fritos for that frito-burrito experience! These should be labeled as hot though, the spice level is well above medium.

My favorite flavor and it has a little kick but not hot spicy. The chili flavor is amazing, I love to add chili and cheese on top and top them with lettuce and tomatoes and taco sauce. They are amazing, you must give them a try.

I have bought these burritos quite often. I generally buy them for my son, whose 8, he loves burritos. I would say that the batch I received is a little spicier than normal, not sure if something was changed but still good, but my son and I both noticed it and like I said I buy these really often.Other than that I think they're really good and I will continue to buy them.

A bit on the spicy side for me, but they have a very good flavor! They actually taste like chili to me and not just a gross bean mess. Air fried them and they came out perfect! Pairs great with sour cream!

ok dough was in to thick for deep fry but girls steamed there's brother that much better flavor texture too much easier to chew was delighted for other sisters but you better go that way Steaming that way

I'm I have to say that I wasn't impressed. I couldn't find on the packaging anywhere saying that this would be hot. I had to spit the first bite out because it was very hot. Not with heat but with pepper. Of course I can't eat food that's hot. Usually it has a pepper on it so we know it's going to be hit. I couldn't find Ione anywhere. I had to give it away. I couldn't tell you anything about the flavor because I couldn't taste it.

I have been eating these for many years along with the other flavors and I can honestly say that there is no meat in this .
