El Monterey Signature Beef Enchiladas Meal, 10.25 oz (Frozen)

This frozen meal was fast and tastes better than my expectations. I added a dollop of sour cream as the sauce is a little spicy and low and behold it tasted just like Sharon made em. I would highly recommend that you eat em up before Walmart runs out.

If you enjoy a medium spice you will enjoy this. Although I cook in MWAVE on 80% power. The flavor is very different than most brands in a good way %26 not a long cook time for a disabled person. I think you'll enjoy the price %26 different flavors of meat.

these are very delicious they taste like homemade there's plenty of food in there for a meal they are microwavable only meals but that is fine I would definitely recommend them and I'm going to buy them again and then near future

The flavor is surprisingly good and spicy for a microwave meal and hits the spot when you are craving an enchilada. The side of rice and beans is not bad, only because I love refried beans, but it's good to pile on top of the enchiladas.

These are great if you are hungry for Mexican food, %26 don't have a lot of time - just microwave %26 serve. Husband likes the beef %26 I like their cheese enchiladas.

The flavor is very good. The rice is also good. If you can eat spicy hot food I think you'll like this dinner. Way too hot for me. When I first tasted it I could tell the flavor was delicious. But then my mouth started burning and I couldnt eat more.

I really like these. The only thing I feel could be improved is that they are a bit too hot, "too spicy". If you are a person that doesn't handle extreme spicy food, think twice before trying. It took me a while, several orders, to get used to the hot spicy kick.

Tasty but hot and spicy thanks to the chipotle jalapeño and red chili peppers. The chicken enchiladas don't have these so are milder. I prefer milder.

I've been purchasing the El Monterey beef enchiladas for a few years now and have always been very happy with the quality and size of the meal. My last purchase of the beef and chicken has been a bit disappointing and it's not over the enchiladas but more so because the side of rice has been almost nonexistent as in a whopping teaspoon of rice. Rice is rather inexpensive and I would think if they were cutting corners, it would be with the entire meal and not just one component of it. Enchiladas on their own are five stars and this is coming from a Hispanic person. I get these because I live alone and sometimes just have a craving for enchiladas and these usually are excellent. Hopefully, they can figure out what went wrong during production.

They have difficulty directions that actually if followed burn the meal. When you finish the first 4.30 minutes the cheese has melted and the rice has congealed. If you cook it for the next 2.40 minutes, it becomes a rock and not edible. I will never buy again,and will demand a refund.
