I love this little dinner. It's priced good The taste is so good I love they aren't hot or spicy but I love the sauce and lots of cheese. For me they are perfection although I have to say the rice is good it used to be a lot better. I have one at least every week.
these are microwavable only dinners but they are wonderful they had a great flavor to them there was plenty of food in there and they were well worth the money that I paid for them I would definitely reorder these again in the near future they are very very tasty and very feeling
This is a good example of a quite delicious cheese enchilada meal. It would also be excellent with green chile sauce, Spanish rice, and refried beans, because the small side of rice that is included with this dinner is just okay; not marvelous or anything like that. I've seen a cheaper brand of these dinners, but that brand uses red sauce, and it's simply not good at all because the quality of the ingredients is truly terrible! I suppose the two cheese enchiladas are the main dish in this dinner, and let me say that they are EXCELLENT, even from the microwave! El Monterey makes the best cheese enchilada dinner for its price point. I'm addicted to these cheese enchilada meals El Monterey makes; I hope Walmart continues to sell them so I can continue having them delivered to my home each week!
I seriously could eat these everyday. My ONLY complaint…I wish it was bigger. There has been a day or two where I had this for lunch and then ended up eating one for dinner. Pathetic I know, but they are that good.
These are great if you are hungry for Mexican food, %26 don't have a lot of time - just microwave %26 serve. Husband likes the beef %26 I like their cheese enchiladas.
el Monterey is a very good brand. these cheese (and beef) enchiladas are really good. a little spicy. but tolerable. with a little sour cream on top. mmmm!
I love quick takeout Mex, especially cheese enchiladas, but it's often more food that I should eat at one sitting. El Monterey's cheese enchiladas are a sensible but not skimpy portion, with enough cheese to satisfy me, and a truly flavorful enchilada sauce that has a little zip. The rice side dish is generous too, and nicely tossed with black beans %26 mixed vegetables. I must say that the rice itself could use a little work - the flavor %26 texture remind me of instant rice - but the enchiladas are so satisfying, I'm sticking with my five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was absolutely no good, no taste and messy. I have ate enchilada dinners before but this one was terrible. I would not recommend this one nor will I purchase again‼️
Not a fan of the El Monterey brand cheese enchiladas. Besides a bit of a tang and the bonus of about a tablespoon of rice, they are oily and without much taste. Amy's brand is much better.
If, like me , you love the chicken enchiladas this company makes and assume the cheese enchiladas are the same but minus the chicken, no. Incorrect. If this was the first time trying their products I wouldnt touch them with a 10 ft pole. Do yourself a favor and go chicken.
