Elac - Two DF63-BK - Debut 3.0 6.5" Floor Speaker - Black

I think these sound wonderful! The only issue there is that I'm aware of is at somewhere around 100 decibels they will cause a loud tapping sound that you can locate with your hand near the middle driver. This must be related to either the lack of thickness on the side panel or bracing? I don't consider it a deal-breaker because what you get for the money you pay is very acceptable. In fact, my research indicates that this speaker is capable of obtaining a very high score of 8.4 when combined with a subwoofer and equalization. There are no other paths, a rating that high with a cost anywhere close to double that can accomplish that rating. To get to something like an 8.6 you're going to drop 10 grand on speakers. It looks like! This is an outlier speaker for quality!
