Needed to switch over to lighter serving ware, these are perfect! Colors are vibrant, as advertised. I do not believe they're microwave safe though, I rarely use my microwave with plates and bowls though, usually just to rewarm a cooled cup of coffee.

I did return them for a color I liked better!
These melamine dishes were of good quality. The design and color were a little busy for me. I had read with other reviews they are perfect for camping, outdoor parties and the lightness is great for easy use.

wrong color
these were nice dishes, good quality. unfortunately, I returned them. what i thought was a redish color for one of the dishes was an ugly burnt orange color. :(
