Bought to use as a fruit platter. I am impressed with the quality of product for the price. Solid piece. Perfect amount of bowls for a large amount of fruit and dip. Bamboo tray turns smoothly. Would recommend to anyone on the fence about this product.

I liked that it had 5 sections plus the center dish and the lazy Suzan makes it easy to reach from all sides.

This works quite well as a veggie platter! The bowls, while not being especially deep, are wide enough to hold enough veggies (and a variety of 5 of them, plus the center dip) for around 4-5 people. I've included a picture of some veggies in the various bowls to show the amount they can hold. Speaking of the bowls - they're easy to wash and, thus far have held up to any kind of breaks or chips. Hopefully they continue to do so, as it's not going to be easy (ie, probably impossible) to find replacement bowls that are the same size, shape and color as these. (That said, in my package I had a "limited time offer" to extend my 30 day warranty for a full year, "no questions asked" if I review the item and send them a link to the review.) So, I suppose we'll see how that goes. My last veggie plastic was a weird, flexible plastic job that was large and rather ugly. This one is smaller, much more attractive, but has one drawback to the plastic ones with lids: there are no lids. So if you find yourself with leftovers, you'll be using some plastic wrap or otherwise covering them in another contain to save them for later. All in all, a great product! It'd be pretty sweet if they had some flimsy plastic lids available for the bowls, but all in all, I'm happy with the product and price.
