Elasta Cat Reflective Safety Stretch Collar

Great collar! Reflective, fits perfectly, not too wide or heavy.

I have four cats and have gone through dozens and dozens of "break-away" collars over the past few years. The trouble is that they are always susceptible to be swatted off in the process of occasional self-scratching around the neck. These elastic collars are the very best solution I've found. They are high quality elastic, with a reflective thread sewn in that reflects back a strong light from a flashlight or car headlight. The ONE drawback is that while the prong can be adjusted in micro-increments into the fabric of the collar, it is prone to unbuckling itself. I realized this pretty early on, and have devised a solution that I recommend to anyone using this collar. Get the thinnest zip-tie you can find, and thread it through the loose end of the collar, and then secure it around the the doubled layer beneath. Cut the zip-tie flush, making sure the 'nub' is on the outside, away from the cat's neck. I remove my cats' collars at night time, when they're in the house, and putting them on/off each day by stretching them over their heads is a pretty easy thing to do, so I never have to bother with the buckle. Best collars I have ever used!

This is the BEST collar I've found! It's lightweight, elastic so my cats & kitties can get out of it quickly and it's reflective so I can see them in the dark. It fits every requirement!

Only collar we've tried that doesn't disappear in a week! The reflectivity is a great plus. The pull-apart collars from other vendors are just too weak.

This is a really great collar. It actually stays on my outdoor cat and the stretch gives me piece of mind that my can get out of the collar if she is in a jam. My only issue is that the only size available is really for smaller cats. I hope one day soon there might be a 12" option available.

I've been using these collars on my smaller cats for years and they're the best but only come in the 10" size. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make them in larger sizes!!
