Finally, I have found, at least part of the answer to his chronic freezing issue. Living with someone who stays cold, even during the summer months, is agonizing. I bought him this banket for Christmas and the "I'm freezing!" comments have dramatically reduced. Also, I no longer have to sleep in the library downstairs simple because it's cooler. He has not complained once about the wires being uncomfortable, too little heat, or the size. Summer is rapidly approaching, and this will be the year my furbaby and I will not be panting, trying to cool of. The heat of this blanket is easily controlled with a dial system, is very low-maintenance, and pleases even the most skeptical person in our home. I would recommend this blanket for anyone who has temperature issues.

Feels soooo good. Beautiful navy blur with white color. Since I live in Florida, i don't use it as often as northerners; however, when i do, it soothes and warms me.

We have only had this blanket for a week and I love it! I hate getting into a cold bed so my husband or I turn it on 10 minutes or so before we get into bed. It’s nice and light, not bulky, a little slippery but does the job! Dual controls. Would buy again.

I've had several heated blankets in the past. For the price point this bats amazingly warm. It heats up quickly. Stays warm extremely long. You don't feel the wires and it's very soft. I highly recommend this blanket. The dials are also very user friendly

I was outta town taking care of my 91y Mother I discovered her electric blanket was not working! I ordered it and it was there the next day as she was discharged from Hospital. The blanket is so much more than I expected! Serpa lined good heat control (I wish the wires were just a bit longer for placement on headboard but it worked fine) I wish I needed one at home because I LOVE IT!! I should order one for everyone lol Mom is so happy thanks for coming to the rescue

This blanket is very soft, but it doesn't heat up near enough for me. Even after having it on the highest setting it is warm, but not like my old blanket. Not enough heat for me. The controllers are also irritating. Constantly falling off the nightstand. My old one had controllers that sat up on a stand . Never moved. Never had to search for them in the dark to adjust if needed. There is no preheat function. Disappointed.

Sorry guys I can't speak on the heat output or how well it holds up. This is one of those items that's going to get returned. The price was too good to be true. The fabric feels very cheap. Not fluffy. And the wires are so prominent you can't not feel the wire bulges. You can see them clear as day. For me this is a big no. The cheapness of materials is too poor for me. I learned here you get what you pay for with electric blankets.

This is a really nice blanket but the cords than plug into the blanket aren't long enough. The controller has to sit on the floor (not long enough for the nighstand) which is unacceptable. I have never had a problem like this before. It's going back and I'm not happy

We were anxious to get this on the bed and working. When we opened the box and unpackaged the blanket, we noticed the heavy plug-in cord was half split just going into the temperature controller. The wires were bare and mostly severed. We took it back to Walmart who said they could not handle it because it shipped from China. I had to call the main Walmart office for instructions. They sent me a Fedex label to send it back to the main Walmart office. They said they would issue a refund upon receipt. We will see. This online ordering thing can become a pain when something like this happens. I know it's not Walmart's fault, but they could offer a bit more help when you buy thru them .... even thru their third party sellers. Other than that they have been pretty helpful.

The blanket was really soft and we were hopeful because it worked great the first time we tried it, but when we tried to use it the second time, one of the controllers was already not working. The display would come on, but the controller wouldn't adjust the settings and the half of the blanket it controls wouldn't turn on at all. Ended up returning for a refund. I would not suggest getting this item.
