ELECTRIC FIREPLACE INSERT - 5000 BTU'S

Love it! It's so cozy. We recently moved from Chicago to Florida and love a fireplace in our great room. This one is a beautiful addition to our room.

Fantastic unit, easy to install and beautiful function

Put this in our basement family room and has been a awesome purchase. Flames look real. Can control the temperatures and colors. Very good quality and a wonderful company with superior customer service when we called to ask the dimensions on the phone.

This is 1 of 2 Dimplex Ignite XL electric fireplaces we have purchased (also the 74 inch) and both are very nice. This one is in my office, appx 14' x 14' with a large opening (no doors) and it heats up the room very efficiently. Nice style, colors and modern look. We custom built a wall to add a dark wood wrap and a clean modern drywall front.

This will be installed in about a week and I am giving a heads up in advance because I know I will love this fireplace! This is my fourth Dimplex and will be the newest and I know the best. I have one mantle fireplace in my master bedroom, one mantle fireplace in my living room and one free standing in a guestroom. This new XL is being installed in a renovated master bath and I can't wait ! I also have a gas fireplace in my family room and I enjoy the Dimplex electric almost as much! Nothing makes a room as cozy as a fireplace and my dogs love to lay on dog beds in front of them!

I purchased this for a bathroom remodel. I bought the log set so it would give it a more Zen feel. I haven't installed it yet but I have seen one a showroom and it is very realistic looking. This is the second Dimplex I purchased from ElectricFireplacesDirect.com and I have been very happy with Hope who was my sales person, and the delivery. I would highly recommend Dimplex and purchasing from this company. I will post pictures when the remodel is complete.

I had been looking for a linear fireplace for my new house and when I saw this model, I found it. I was able to get it from the scratch and dent area which saved me hundreds. It looks great. The only negative I can point out is that it must be hardwired to the fuse box by an electrician. It cost my $1000. Other than that, the fireplace itself is great.

Received first dimplex xl60, had broken pieces, no remote. It was clear that i received a returned fireplace. Received second fireplace. Box was extremely dented and busted open on one end. Nothing seemed to be damaged. Fireplace works fine and is gorgeous. Not very impressed with Dimplex as a company. Poor packaging of their products. Should be shipped freight on a pallet versus thrown around in the back of a Fed Ex truck. Fireplace is too heavy to ship regular Fed Ex. Other reviews have said Dimplex customer service is horrible and long wait times. I hope this fireplace is trouble free. Electric Fireplace. com was easy to deal with. This Dimplex XL looks like a real gas fireplace and we remodeled to fit this fireplace. We would have to purchase again or look for another electric fireplace that would fit opening if we had serious problems with this purchase.

The instructions for the XLF50 are seriously some of the worst I have ever seen. The unit comes with the users manual but you need the installation manual way before that right? You have to go online for the installation manual. When you do review either manual, you can see how poorly both are written. This really makes installation a pain in the butt.

Purchased it last December 2017. Since then, it has been inoperable 3 separate times. The fireplace has actually sat broken longer than it has worked. Flicker flames goes out like a match; cheap junk. Be aware that Dimplex is in Canada, they have no repair here. Average wait time for calls is 40 minutes plus. Once you finally get through to them, they ask you what is wrong, then the girl on the phone ""tries"" to troubleshoot by what you tell her. Then they send you the part that they ""think"" is broken. Then someone here in the US is suppose to call and come fix it, which doesn't happen for weeks or month plus. Do not buy.. Have spoken to several customers and businesses who state ""nothing but junk"".
