Omg I cant believe it opened the jar! When i put the batteries in it started working. I put a jar of pick;es in then it popped the top and then It twisted it right off. I was a little nervous when it started to tighten up on the jar. It made a popping sound of the seal and. It opened right up. I am really impressed this hand held unit opened a jar that i couldn't open! If you need help opening a jar this will open it for you.

Wow! This is amazing! I have arthritis in both hands and there is a lot of times I can't open jars but not anymore. I just sat this on top of the lid, pushed the button, and it went right to work opening the jar. I am mad at myself that I didn't get it a long time ago. It was a little confusing at first, but my friend who has one showed me, and I was fine after that. The magnet is great, very heavy-duty. I store it in a bottom cabinet

If you have small jars the item works great! The larger jars has a little trouble. Make sure you are using good batteries.

Was very hard to get it to work on certain lids but it does work-no batteries came with it %26 the lid to but batteries in was as tough as it was to get jar opened for someone with weak hands! It did remove the lid though

I did not know this was “as seen on TV” when i ordered it. As one should expect with the “as seen on TV” warning, it's a good idea in theory but doesn't actually work. We've tried 3 jars and it failed to open any of them and is also too small to open a jar of pickles. A complete waste of money and time.

After figuring out how to insert batteries, unit powered on and would not turn off. I had to remove battery to power off. I checked to be sure batteries were installed correctly and tried again. Same thing happened. Unit cannot be placed on jar while turned on. Power button does not work. I do not recommend.

Biggest piece of crap I ever bought. Does not fit 90% of jars. The other 10% it doesn't have enough power to open!!!
