Electrolux 4.5 Cu. Ft. Front Load Perfect Steam Washer with SmartBoost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this due to my old unit throwing fault codes (different brand), read many google reviews, watched youtube, and ultimately called local suppliers and asked for recommendations on reliable machines. Well settled on the 700 series washer and couldn't be happier, machine is super quite, clothes are clean and I mean CLEAN! You know that feeling when you use something and think to yourself, this is a nice product, thats the case here. If you're in the market don't hesitate buy Electrolux!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly blown away at how clean I can get the clothes on the Cold Water Cycle. This should be a huge savings over time. My last pair were also Electrolux and I wanted to stay with the brand since I was so happy with them. Since my last washer, the cycles have gotten more specific for cleaning needs and that is a huge plus. The Smart Boost and ability to mix the soaps prior to starting the cycle is really unique and helps if you use a powder of any kind especially.I hope to have this washer for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 64 year old woman and have always had a top loader washing machine. I needed a new washer, so I did a lot of research on washers. I have to admit I was very hesitant on buying a front loader, but after reading all the good reviews on the Electrolux washers, my husband and I bought one. It's the best decision we made. After reading the manual, the machine is straight forward. It's easy to use, run's quietly and gets my clothes really clean. The controls are easy to use, which I thought might be difficult and confusing. I would highly recommend purchasing an Electrolux washers! If any other of our appliances beak down, Electrolux is who we will go to purchase a new one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer looks great, especially because it doesn't use WIFI or "SMART" features that I don't want, but where has the hand wash cycle gone on all washers? My old LG had it on the dial. It's ridiculous that due to water efficiency standards this cycle has been removed. I guarantee I use WAY more water hand washing myself AND THIS IS WHAT I'M BUYING A WASHER FOR- TO DO THE WORK FOR ME!!! I'm a woman with many very delicate clothes and I'm sick of using my kitchen sink now that my very old LG finally kicked the bucket. Hand wash cycles are essential for many women! Therefore, I can only give 4 stars. Consumer Reports rates this well, and my sister has had good luck with two Electrolux washers, which is why I am considering this one. LG only now has hand wash baked into its app and LCD screen or WIFI models. I am not using an app or WIFI. Bring back dials and buttons that won't fail!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer is beautiful, works very well. Lots of options in choosing a cycle. Faults, door doesn't prop open to fully allow it to dry and 20% of the time a sock is caught in the rubber on the front.

It's an ok washer but they really need to stick to vacuums. They will not get the dog hair out of clothes like other washers we've owned. It certainly is not quiet as they claim. I don't feel it gets clothes as clean as others. I do like the size of it. It won't be very long before we swap these out for a different set.

Poor color choices. I figured that without the fancy color choices and focusing on great reviews I'd switch from the Samsung front load which I loved and washed incredibly well and was shiny and gorgeous. Everyone raved about the Electrolux 700 in the green color and I went for it bc the only other option was matte white which reminds me of the 1990s when people would use house paint on their cars… the green is closer to a matte than a semigloss it's not impressive looking but I can overlook that if it works well, however my first use is already problematic. I looked online at the HO SE troubleshoot message and it said something about mixing up the cold w the hot… I was using a hot setting and when I opened it my clothes were in fact on a hot setting w hot water used… so far I'm not loving it but I'm hopeful it will run correctly soon so I'm giving it 2 stars bc it's not washing. I love that there's an option for a 15 minute cool clean cycle!! I ran this cycle on cool thinking that maybe my hot was too hot or it was a temperature thing, and again I got the HO SE error. The towels were hot but seemed clean. My Samsung dryer said “Samsug” so there was an error in the factory that day or the dryer was a fake that I did not catch upon delivery and the steam setting never worked so after moving I went with the highest rated machine this time. So far I'm not impressed w the Electrolux 700 but am hoping it's just an error in installation and not a lemon. It came with a tide pod to use which is convenient and unexpected!
