Electrolux 8.0 Cu. Ft. Front Load Electric Dryer with Perfect Steam & Balanced Dry – Alpine Green (ELFE7738AA)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this washer. it is so simple to use, nothing fancy which is what I wanted. The speed it cleans at is cut in half from my old washer and I like that they fixed the rubber seal around the door so it doesn't mold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 700 washer dryer combo has been good for the first 5 cycles. The dryer gets our clothes dry just the right amount. The completion alert is a bit low volume so it's hard to know when the clothes are done but so far that's my only complaint. Swapping the door direction was a bit involved but not too difficult - recommend that you have two people for the job just because it was difficult to hold the door up and screw it on by myself.

They have all the settings you'll ever need, steam dry is a great feature for wrinkle release. They are quiet, and quick compared to our old machines. And the matte white is beautiful, really looks good in the room. So far we have no complaints. As far as longevity and durability, time will tell. But for now we are completely satisfied with these machines.

Our older set was 13 years old…..but the rotary control on the dryer needed replacement and the part was no longer available. We decided to be proactive before it broke down completely. We are very happy with the updates in options and quietness and stability of the new machines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new laundry room is self designed as a piece off jewelry. The floors, the walls, the Waynes coating the Philip Morris wallpaper. All of the faucets door knobs door poles, chosen for solid elegance. New wood floors, oversized crown molding and five panel doors. Taking center stage are a pair of lovely dark green front load Electrolux front loaders. They are slightly raised and reside under a magnificent expanse of quartzite. The Electrolux machines not only have grand presence they also produce exceptional cleaning power.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dry time is much quicker and the estimated time is more accurate than my previous whirlpool dryer. Also much better drying than my LG which almost always required restarting the dryer because it just couldn't do it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A new dryer, a middle aged woman's dream. This dryer does well - clothes are dried with one cycle. Only gripe I have is the lint filter, when I pull it out to clean it, lint falls out. When I open it, lint falls out. Not a great design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like the washer and dryer but there are 2 major issues. The first is the sound, it's either on or off. Unfortunately on is very annoying and the “cycle complete” alarms repeatedly and you cannot turn this off. You have to mute the sound completely. I would prefer the sound on to hear button presses and would prefer to know when my load is done quietly or like my previous machine, with a chime or choice of sound or to turn off “cycle complete” without muting the buttons. There are just no options. The other issue I have with the dryer lint. The opening of the dryer is flat metal no gasket but it has been folded over to face the interior of the dryer leaving a small gap where fuzz, and hair become trapped so when I open the door they are floating all around and I have to pull each one out. The lint filter is a basket style that opens up and it is a micro screen but there are areas on the outside perimeter where lint does build up. Not a perfect design. Functionally, the dryer has several heat settings which actually work unlike my previous model, and you have the ability to set auto heat temp and dry level to normal or less or more dry. The factory normal setting on normal heat, normal dry, auto, leaves our clothes slightly damp so I have to set the dry level to high. But at least I can control the temperature.
