I absolutely LOVE my Electrolux washer and dryer with matching bases. This is the first time purchasing this brand and I chose this brand because my Mother-in-law always said Electrolux is a very reliable brand. I am amazed at how quiet these machines are and how well they clean clothing and bedding. I also love how they look in my newly refreshed basement laundry area! I will highly recommend these machines to anyone looking to buy a reliable, sturdy, quiet machine!
This is our first Electrolux washer and dryer. We just completed the remodel on the house we bought and moved in. I have done 5 loads of wash and I can’t believe how clean everything looks!! We have bought other brands through the years that advertised how they get everything clean but I would pull the wash out (especially whites) and they looked like they had not even been washed. I put my robe with white satin edges on the sleeves that had gotten dirty when unpacking things and expected that it would come out dingy looking but the edges actually came out white again and not dingy!! I shopped around and looked at so many other brands that were cheaper but decided to spend a bit more on the Electrolux because I had bought other products made by Electrolux in the past and they were good products. Convinced my husband and bought the washer and dryer plus the pedestals and am so happy that we did!!!
We purchased another, so called, reputable brand washer and dryer that didn't seem to work any better than our previous 10+ year old appliances. The materials keep getting cheaper and the noise could wake the neighbors. That set was immediately sent back. We decided to spend a "little" extra money and purchased the Electrolux Front Load Perfect Steam Washer and Dryer with stands. OMGoodness!! The difference has been nothing less than amazing! We have put this washer and dryer through it's paces and our clothes, towels, sheets, blankets and everything else we have run through them have come out almost like they were new again. In a nutshell, I've got to say that we'll be looking at Electrolux for any new appliances we need in the future. The quality is the best, without questjion.
We purchased an Electrolux Washer & Dryer for our new home build two months ago. We conducted an extensive search of the reviews for all washer & dryer sets on the market in the US. We found that Electrolux had the best overall review ratings from both customers as well as repair professionals. We have now been using the washer / dryer for over a month and could not be more pleased with our purchase. I especially appreciate that hand wash setting on the washing machine.
I love my new Electrolux dryer. It works extremely efficiently. It has dried everything properly. There are also many different settings so you should be able to put almost anything in this dryer.
Bought this same dryer 8 years ago and used it daily. Loved it so much we bought the same new improved model. The biggest improvement is the lint basket. Much easier to remove and clean. Many new features as well, and runs super quiet. Electrolux is quality and highly recommend this model
Works great for routine drying and gets everything completely dry on the ‘normal’ setting, even heavy fabric like jeans. Have not tested the advertised ability to dry a king sized comforter yet but one of the reasons why we picked this unit is because it is 8 Cu ft as opposed to 7.4 like a lot of the competitors. The only thing that I don’t like so far is the ‘Instant Refresh’ cycle. It works ok for light items like a dress shirt but struggles to remove wrinkles from heavier fabric. It is a very cycle, only 10 minutes, and I wish you could adjust it to run longer for heavier fabrics or items with more wrinkles. Also for some bizarre reason you can’t use the wrinkle prevention or extended tumble option with this cycle so if you can’t take stuff out immediately, it just gets wrinkles again. There are some other similar program limitations that also don’t seem to make sense. For example you can’t use the steam function if you use the manual timed dry setting, it only works on the automatic cycles. Why? Overall it seems like a pretty good unit, but we’ve only had it for a couple weeks, so hopefully it will be as reliable as our last set that lasted 13 years.
I recently purchased a Electrolux washer and dryer. Happy with it so far. My advice is to make sure it’s level. If not washer will leak a little out the bottom. Happy with energy efficiency as well. I keep washer door open to keep gaskets from molding.
I decided on the Electrolux washer and dryer over other brands due to it's positive reviews, industry ratings and reputation. Additionally, I liked the appearance, the color and some of the options/settings available without being completely overwhelming with so many that I would never use. After a few weeks of use, I am very satisfied with them so far. I would recommend the brand to others.
Very unhappy. No matter the cycle, clothes come out dirty and soaking wet after many attempts at washing. Keep having the sensor throw an error to clear the door even when there is lots of clearance. Third time using this set's dryer when within 15-20 minutes of the dryer cycle, the lint trap shot out of the compartment and was torn to pieces. Plastic pieces everywhere. Nightmare to pick out all of the plastic pieces from the wet clothes. Bought this set based on positive reviews. Definitely not the case here and was quite shocked with both machines' terrible performance. Initiated a return within 6 days of purchase.
