Electrolux - 8.0 Cu. Ft. Stackable Electric Dryer with Steam and LuxCare Dry System - Titanium

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the washer and dryer! We haven't had the chance to try out all the bells and whistles but we are loving it so far! The clothes come out of the washer with most of the water rung out so the drying time is much less. Thank you, I might start to enjoy doing laundry again!

This is our 2nd Electrolux dryer, same model, just eight years newer. It is in a small laundry room but I really wanted a full size machine, it fits perfectly. It was also important to me that I could get a dark color, anything better than white in this space.

We moved to a new home, so choosing Electrolux again for our laundry was a no-brainer. Compared to other brands out there, Electrolux stands out with their features and durability. We do 1-2 loads of laundry daily and expect these appliances to last for at least several years with no maintenance issues. A couple features we like: the quality of construction with the stainless steel tub, ease of use of the digital interface, and nice appearance to help our laundry room look good. We would recommend Electrolux to anybody looking for an affordable long-term investment.

The size is nice and fits well into the space where our previous dryer was located. The digital display is user-friendly and the instructions were helpful. We have been using this for a few months now and it is very intuitive to operate. My lone complaint is it has already developed a noise like something loose in the drive. We just haven't had time to hassle with a service call.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good Machine. Don't know why the clean basket for the machine which collects coins and stuff is inside the machine. It's in a place that you have to take sides and top off the machine to get to it. Other machines on the market have a door on the front you just open and clean it out. Ugh.

Why does the “normal” dry selection not dry the clothes? After a full 50+ min cycle the clothes were not only not dry, the felt like they haven’t been dried at all. And if I select “high” dry…OMG…it’s a 97-min dry cycle! WHY???? This is terrible. Not at all happy so far after using it twice.
