At first, I thought that I had made another mistake purchasing yet another pillow that doesn't work. That I was expecting too much hoping it would give me relief from nightly neck pains, numbness in both hands and disturbed sleep night after night. Well guess what, that is exactly what this strangely shaped pillow is now doing for me. It is exactly what I needed. AMAZING! Okay, it does take time to adjust to this strangely shaped pillow and it's slippery pillow case. It took me about a week for my neck to adjust to its shape. It is not perfect. It's too thin on it's own, 3" thickness, but placing it on top of the old foam neck-supporting pillow, and that makes it perfect for me. I don't think there is perfect solution for every side sleeper with arthritis or old neck injuries, like whiplash or pinched nerves. I used to wake several times a night with very painful and burning tingling in one or both hands. I have had a couple car accidents and surgeries which only helped temporarily. Now I'm eighty years old and so is my neck. I have found the solution for night after night waking with such pain. I also had problems with a sore ear and not being able to listen to sleep music, the ear buds just hurt too much on my old pillow, which had worn down and needed replacing. I don't know how many pillows I have bought over the years, desperate for relief. One thing I do know by now, foam pillows are probably the best way to go. But they don't last forever. The foam becomes compressed, thinner and your neck ends up in a way which puts pressure on the nerves in your neck. And I like to listen to the sea which helps me sleep better, but the ear buds also hurt my ear. And so it was time to replace my old pillow, to find a better solution and some pain-free sleep. But then all pillows need replacing. I mean sleeping on the same feathers day after day, year after year, even when we forget to wash our hair, went to bed with makeup on, perspiration, drooling... yeah, I know, gross right! It happens. So yeah, pillows do need replacing. Anyhow, the old foam (expensive!) made for sleeping comfy in any position, left, right, or even on your face (see! told you, drooling😅!) and which actually work for a time. So I been shopping, reading reviews and descriptions for I don't know how many hours, and just didn't find anything perfect. I came on this different and unusual looking pillow, suggesting that it could possibly helping me sleep through the night, and it sported indents for ear/earbud. It sounded promising, but I had some concern with its thickness though, 3" didn't seem thick enough, but I bought it. And initially that was true, it is not thick enough for keeping my neck and head straight, preventing pressure on the nerves in my neck which causes the painful tingling, pressure on some nerves in my neck. I did find a solution for that though, I have it on top of my old pillow. Together that works for me. Make sure yyou read and follow the instructions

Side sleeper. After using this pillow, First night sleep where didn't have neck or shoulder pain upon waking. I thought these pillows were a gimmick . Some “new foam” smell wasn't enough to deter me from using it right away. I did air it out, outside during the day after taking cover off and the smell dissipated quit a bit. Best money I ever spent!

I have had no neck discomfort after using this product. It is nice that it has a washable cover.

it helps what's next support but doesn't quite fit where my head would lat

it is exactly what I hoped it would be. And the delivery service is fantastic!

Each individual has their unique problems so I don't want to make any recommendation. However, I have slept comfortably on this pillow--less stiff neck and no headaches--for 2 weeks now. That's not long enough to really test it out, but so far I've been happy with it. The foam is soft to the touch, but my head doesn't sink into it, which is helpful. I'm not crazy about the pillowcase (too slippery), but that's a minor gripe. If you're a side sleeper who hasn't yet found your ideal pillow, you could do worse than give this one a try.

it's much smaller and thinner than you'd think but it's still a nice pillow

I didn't even use it because the size of it was smaller than I pictured also didn't seem to have the support I needed and feel it is not a quality item etc. That's my review
