Self Help was kind enough to purchase this wonderful fridge/ freezer for me when my Whirlpool fridge decided it was indeed a pool and kept filling up with water etc etc etc. and I lost so much money and food I began to use my balcony as a fridge……… no fun!!!!!
I love my new fridge! I didnt think I could afford one with a freezer on the bottom until I found this one. Its basic without all the bells and whistles avaliable on more expensive brands, but Im very happy with it.
This fridge is working well for me. It fits nicely in my kitchen. Runs quietly and keeps everything good and cold. Freezer on the bottom is what I wanted and it freezes well without leaving frost.
i had an element freezer for the last three years and was so pleased with it i bought this element fridge with bottom freezer, it is very simple and I love that!
Wanted a "no frills" refrigerator to replace my 17 year old one that needed a compressor. Most new refrigerators contain multiple circuit boards to control "gadgets" like WIFI, ice makers, etc., leading to overly complicated designs, repair problems and reliability issues. This one keeps food cold/frozen and does its job. The bottom freezer is great for my needs. So far, very satisfied.
I love the refrigerator. The refrigerator and the freezer maintain perfect temperatures. The only negative feature is that the door doesn't close automatically like most refrigerators so I have to remember to always push it closed. The upside is that is does have an alarm if it's left open for too long.
I have had this refrigerator for a few weeks. There is a lot of room in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. I like that there is an area on the side of the refrigerator to open the door instead of a handle on the front. I have two suggestions for improving the refrigerator: the bins in the refrigerator should have individual settings for the coldness of the bin. There is only one control for both. The top drawer in the freezer is a little too lightweight.
Great fridge, perfect for my space. Also glad it doesn't come with an ice maker - we don't use one and it takes up valuable freezer real estate. I could wish the drawer wheels felt a little sturdier, but can't argue with the price!
We love having the freezer on the bottom. However, there seems to be frost in the freezer. It's not a very large amount but each item has some frost inside the wrapper.>B
Good size and design for a single person or couple. The shelves and bins allow space for tall containers and enough produce for a week's shopping. I wish there were a deli bin for cheeses and cold cuts. The freezer compartments are large enough for pizza boxes and other frozen food, and the bottom freezer drawers roll well on a ball bearing track vs. a plastic roller wheel. The refrigerator is quiet and efficient, so I am happy with this appliance.
