Although I have not had this dvd long enough to know it's extended effects, it has worked well for me thus far. I definitely notice a change in leg strength. The exercises are appropriately challenging for a good workout and does not focus solely on one section of the body. My posture has improved and I look forward to the long-term benefits of this workout.
Really works your legs. It goes by quickly, and is a good workout for days that you don't want to "push it", low energy days. Not to say that it does not work your body, it is just a gentler, slower workout.
This is great for beginners. I was hoping for something with more substance to it. Instuctor leaves out a lot of information. Jumping jacks? Really? This will make a great gift for a beginner.
To note- this is primarily a standing up Ballet conditioning until the ab section. It has a nice flow up to a small cardio climax. I really enjoy this one because it is easy to follow and learn. It absolutely does the trick every time. I am a seasoned athletic individual and I would recommend this to anyone. All you need is a chair and some clearance.
This video is excelllent! Your legs will be sore and even your upper body! I definitely recommend it.
