[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has been great so far. Extremely easy to set up and use. Home Screen has all of the apps for streaming services, which makes it easy to log in to whichever ones you have and start watching your shows right away. The remote is simple and easy to understand, and the picture and audio quality is great too. Great value for this TV!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size is perfect for a large living room or room, the construction feels solid and the design is modern, with thin edges that give it an elegant look. The image quality is excellent, it is easy to use and receives updates that help improve performance and add new features. It works very well with streaming applications and connects without problem to the devices. In general, it is an excellent option if you are looking for a SMART TV with good image and full functions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is bright and sharp, the 4k hdr looks great. The setup was easy but the stand screws didn't thread in very smoothly. Interface is simple to use. It feels like a great value for the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this tv! The image is so crisp, and the sound quality is impressive as well. Very easy to set up the stand and smart functionality and I'm excited to continue using it to watch all my favorite shows!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from a 10 year-old 55 inch LG and for the price point the 65 inch Element is a great value. The picture settings needed some tweaking out of the box, and our first Dolby content switched us to a different preset that we had to adjust again, but the picture looks great. Sound has been solid and the app selection is good. We spent our first week binging Castlevania, and no complaints from the family. The only thing we seem to be missing is the Hallmark app, which my mom would love to see added, otherwise all of our apps that we frequent are included in the available items. Remote is snappy in responsiveness and the tv itself is lightweight and slim. Fit easily on our console and was easy to attach the legs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv size is perfect for our living room. The picture is clear and bright and the sound is crisp. The remote navigation is easy to use and has a mic option as well. It is really light compared to our older, smaller flat screen tv that we have had for years. I tried the accessibility option though to read things on the screen for my grandma who is losing her sight — unfortunately the voice was so robotic, it became annoying so we had to turn it off. Also, adding apps was kinda hard. It doesn't seem like it has all the apps as other smart tvs… and if it does, it is not easy to find them. Overall though, we are really enjoying the bigger screen tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv was very easy to set up. Had no issues with the wifi and you can also set up parental controls if needed. The picture and sound are great. There are a few improvements that could be made. I do wish the remote had some backlight buttons, it does come with some already programmed streaming buttons. My biggest complaint is the lack of apps. It had most your main ones but did lack Hulu and Discovery+, also noticed it lacked some other popular apps. It does have a free app that had some decent shows and movies. Overall I think its a decent TV but the available apps needs improvement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Element 50" 4K UHD HDR10 TiVo TV Review For the price, the Element 50" 4K UHD HDR10 TiVo TV offers a very good overall experience, even if it isn't perfect. The setup process is incredibly simple and takes less than 10 minutes from unboxing to watching content, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a hassle-free TV. One of the biggest strengths of this TV is its picture quality. Even with Eco Mode enabled, the image remains bright, detailed, and enjoyable to watch. There are also plenty of settings and customization options available, allowing you to fine-tune the experience to your liking. The inclusion of free TiVo channels is another welcome bonus, providing extra entertainment without additional subscription costs. Performance is mostly excellent. The only noticeable downside is that the loading screen during startup can be slower than expected and takes a bit of time before reaching the home screen. However, once the TV is fully loaded, the interface becomes fast, smooth, and responsive. Navigation through menus, apps, and settings feels quick, and connectivity has been seamless with no issues. All HDMI ports work perfectly, and switching between devices is fluid and reliable. Reliability has been mostly good, but I did experience one issue where apps stopped working and the TV became frozen, requiring a full reset. Thankfully, this has only happened once, but it's worth mentioning. The TV's design is clean and modern, helped by the thin plastic feet. While they contribute to a sleek, minimal appearance, they also feel somewhat flimsy. The feet are made from skinny plastic and don't inspire much confidence regarding their long-term ability to support the TV. They work fine for now, but durability is something I question over time. Overall, the Element 50" 4K UHD HDR10 TiVo TV delivers strong value for the money. It provides good picture quality, a smooth user experience once loaded, reliable connectivity, easy setup, and useful features like free TiVo channels. Despite a slow startup, a one-time freeze requiring a reset, and somewhat weak-feeling stand feet, it's still a very good TV that offers a lot for its cost.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is fairly lightweight so removing from the box and setting up on the entertainment stand/cabinet was fairly easy. The next part was a little more difficult. Initial setup was frustrating. Channel scan was easy, but connecting to the wireless network was not so easy. Power cord is permanently attached, so it's a little more difficult to route than my old tv was. Once power is applied the set turns on and prompts to run through setup, it also has a hearing impaired guidance turned on by default, but is easy to switch off. In the initial setup, there is no option to connect manually to a wireless network not broadcasting the SSID. This is possible though after initial setup in the advanced settings. Be mindful of your network security, it defaults to wpa3 so if you have an older router and it doesn't connect, check the security setting. It will connect to 2.4 and 5ghz networks. Out of the box the firmware was also up to date. After getting the initial setup done it was time to calibrate the screen. From what I can tell, this set uses a super MVA panel. The software on the tv made it a bit of a challenge to calibrate the screen. Factory available screen modes seemed to be too dark or have too much color saturation. There are 2 customizable setups available. Options for calibration are difficult to find and not too intuitive. Calibration was also difficult due to uniformity issues. The panel shows lighting inconsistency with a circle in the center of the screen and arches at the top and bottom. Being edge lit, I expected some uniformity issues, but this seems excessive. Color, contrast, and off angle viewing though seem very good. Motion is a bit of an issue, Element advertises 60hz and it really shows. Apps are clunky to use, but do appear to have the most prevalent apps available and have to be accessed through buttons on the remote, which is ok, but I really would have liked a menu system to navigate on screen to select all available inputs and apps in one place. Sound is tinny and seems to be missing any option to adjust treble and bass manually, there are preset sound modes though that you can choose from. Internet channels are decent which seems to be the way most content is going. OTA reception was just fine too. It would be nice if the content resolution could be displayed in the info menu/popup. One thing missing though is network shared content ability with dlna or smb. There is a USB port that will play mp4 and such, but I had issues with freezing if I tried to pause, rewind, or fast forward. The only way to recover was to unplug the set. Jpg's worked without issue though. The USB port is also .5 amps, so I don't recommend trying an external hard drive. Overall impression 2/5 stars Would I recommend this TV to a friend? No. Uniformity and motion blur are just too bad and lack of dlna or smb iced the cake. I can see this as a garage tv or if you are looking for something really basic, but it just doesn't fit for me as my primary tv. Pros Thin outline bezel design Lightweight Bluetooth remote with buttons Wpa3 wifi security Color Contrast Off angle viewing Auto power off setting Cons Tinny sound Panel lighting uniformity Only 60hz Clunky user interface/software No dlna or smb Mp4 USB media froze Thick for an edge lit tv
Its a TV. Its decent. The last Element tv died and was less than two years old.
