My rec center in town offers a once a week class for 6 weeks for $98 .This DVD can use at home and multiple reviews watching beats a real in person class.Great value for the DVD.

Limbers and centers this gal!
I am purchasing my 3rd copy as my friends loved it so I gifted my first to them. My roommate took my 2nd one and now I need to buy my own again. The warm up workout is 20 minutes and really opens up my body. The instructor has you pretend you are holding a cup of hot tea to open up the shoulders and wow does it. I totally love this workout!!! It really helps me limber up and is very meditative. He has a pleasant voice and is very grounding. The "learning the moves" part in the tai chi workout makes me sleepy as tai chi is a very slow controlled exercise anyway. Once you learn the routine though it is not boring. It flows and is really wonderful. I feel utterly peaceful and refreshed doing his routine. If you are a mover and shaker, wiggle worm, ants in the pants, person who needs high energy you will find this boring. But if you are a dynamo with one trillion things on your mind running the treadmill of business you will love this DVD. You can shut off the mind actually rest and refresh your body into feeling like you are 20 again.

A Little Disappointed.
I have other Tai Chi videos, and this one does not really meet up to the ones that I already have. Kind of disappointed!

Digitally Reversed Image?
Actually would rate the instruction and demo in the video a 5 Star, except for one glaring problem. The narration and the video don't match in regards to left and right, as in left arm/right arm, or leg, hand, etc. When the narration says "... left arm", for example, the demonstrator uses his right arm. When the narration says circle the hips in a counter-clockwise motion, the demonstrator is moving his hips clockwise (in orientation to himself, as if he were looking at 12:00 when facing straight ahead. It looks as if in production someone reversed the image, or the narrator and demonstrator ( I assume to be the same person, Samuel Barnes ) were not on the same page. Otherwise the material and demonstration is great. But I am going to attempt to get a copy that is correctly oriented. To follow this one would be very tedious, and cause one to have to go into a meditative mode, to say the least.
