Hello fellow Elemis enthusiasts! I purchased this body wash as a gift for my hard-working son to try. He is a carpenter by trade during the day (and his work days are LONG…10 hours long at times). He then teaches martial arts to children & adults twice a week and has a third job on weekends too! Some of these summer days he would come home in such a sweaty, dirty mess that he would drop his tool bag in the foyer and run to the shower. I just knew Elemis would have something to help him cool off after a long, hot, day of working in the summer sun. I was right! My son tells me that the Cool Down Body Wash is “awesome” and that he “loves using it.” Anything that makes him look forward to a shower makes me happy. What more can I say? This is a man with all kinds of allergies and Elemis' products are safe and effective for him. In fact, our entire family is using Elemis now and I love it! Now if only this body wash would work after a spousal spat…;-)

refreshing, creamy menthol shower gel. Lid is a problem as others have reported. Gel leaks out which is not good when one has paid so much for this special product. Need to change the lid - I have the glow scrub and the lid would be good on this to reduce leakage.

I really like the product - it has helped my sore muscles through weekends of intensive pilates teacher training. BUT - Elemis needs to revamp the packaging. If standing upright the product oozes out and pools in the lid. The next time you open it, what a mess! You end up have to scoop the product out of the lid and end up using way more than you need. What a waste! Please fix this. Would be better in a pump. I have also had this packaging issue with the massage balm.

Smells masculine, bought for my partner this christmas, he suffers from being overheated, so thought this might help him cool and stay cooler after the shower. Lathers well in hard water areas.

The smell reminds me of winter green ointment used for sports injuries. It may suit someone but it's definitely not for me.
