I don't use perfumes because their strong artificial/chemical smell gives me headaches. But this oil is a divine experience. I close my eyes and breathe it in. Smells like I'm in Hawaii and have my nose in the real flowers. I melt it and transfer to smaller containers that I can swipe I little out with finger even when solid from cold temperatures.
Beautiful scent & gorgeous skin within first use. Staple in my skin care. Countless compliments on my glowing skin & hair condition. (Brunette, thick hair & olive skin) PLACE BOTTLE IN WARM CUP OF WATER PRIOR TO USE. ITS MEANT TO SOLIDIFY, SO FOR ALL THE REVIEWS MOANING ; FO UOUR HOME WORK !!
The Frangipani oil smells delightful, transporting you to a tropical paradise. (Watch out though....that mini tip can get slippery when trying to close the bottle!)
This body oil is amazing! A little bit goes a long ways so the cost is outweighed by that. My skin felt amazing after just the first use. It is now my go-to in-shower body moisturizer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it solidifies between showers and has to be placed in warm water to liquify, but that's no big deal.
Buy It ! .. I love this oil. I use it on my body, buy mostly my hair. As I now need to wash my hair so often due to the pandemic my hair had become so dry. I have only been using this a few weeks but my hair has improved massively. The only reason for the four stars is because it solidifies (which elemis do highlight), and as I use it so often, it is a pain to keep warming it to turn back to oil.
I love the fragrance and brought it to go with the body scrub. Like other people I'm so disappointed that it's so difficult to use. The positive side of it being solid is it will last for ages as it's only good if you plan ahead and warm it up for about 10 minutes. I like the suggestion someone made of decanting some into a more open container. Based on this I wouldn't buy it again.
The body oil is no where near as fragrant as it used to be. I recently purchased a bottle and although it feels lovely and soft on your skin the fragrance is much weaker than it used to be. Thirty minutes after application the fragrance has disappeared. Very disappointing as it is expensive!
This is really awkward to use - it's solidified. Smells divine, you just can't get it out of the bottle without warming it up in hot water for a while.
I have been using this product for over a year. And throughout this time I have noticed my clothes would have bleach staining on them. I have changed numerous products I've used to resolve this issue however I have recently come to the conclusion that it is this oil that is ruining my clothes. I got out of the shower, applied the oil, allowed it to dry, put a satin dress on and within minutes i have bleach marks all over my dress! Highly frustrating as there is nothing you can do to remove this and I have thrown multiple garments due to this issue. It does not state in the description or on the bottle this this product stains clothing. I would avoid at all costs unless you're able to afford a new wardrobe weekly.
The body oil has a beautiful smell very exotic an smells luxurious. But unfortunately did not suit my skin as did any other frangipani product. I suffer with eczema an I find it dehydrates my skin! Bringing out my eczema so I would not recommend if you have any skin problems. (Japanese camilla oil seems a better fit). I am a beauty Therapist an work with elemis products and I completely love all the ranges except for frangipani :( I also have to use it a lot during work which takes its toll on my hand eczema too.
