I started using this on my belly when pregnant and extended out to the rest of the family (including the newborn) and find it amazing for all skin types. It's great for clearing up eczema and dry skin and one bottle goes a long way. Yes the lid is fiddly but it does force you to take care and sit down to apply the oil. In doing so I find it a relaxing ritual.
This is a beautiful, light oil which I used as a body oil, really nourishing. I then went for an Indian head massage at my local Elemis salon and the therapist used this and afterwards my hair was so soft, smooth and felt amazing, I now use this at the very end of my hair routine after blow drying and straightening, love this and lasts ages, a true all rounder.
I love this oil. I use it on my arms and legs and it soaks in quickly, not leaving an oily feel. Whatever is left on my hands I wipe into my hair. My friend uses it on her feet. She battled terribly dry heels and feet and started using this daily and her feet are now soft and smooth. I am sensitive to perfumes and this product has a very gentle scent to it that doesn't bother me.
I purchased this as it does not solidify at room temperature. I will definitely be buying again. I use it on my hair, and it leaves it so soft. This has replaced all my intense conditioners & masks and treatments.
This is my third bottle, after being in a terrible car accident I was left with terrible scarring and a skin graft. This product has so renewed my scar quality ......lasts me a year on each bottle..... awesome ❤️
This is my go to” daily moisturizer for my body. I feel that lotions leave a kind of waxy build up, but this oil gets absorbed and keeps me moisturized all day. I use it at night as well, especially for my neck and chest. Nice light scent
I used the Japanese Camelia body oil at my firt pregnancy and it worked no strech marks at all and believe me i gained way too much weight! I am a returning customer and purchased 2 bottles this time for baby no 2 ! Worth every peny! Highly recommend.
I began using this to prevent stretch marks during the second trimester of my third pregnancy. First pregnancy I had no stretch marks, but during my second pregnancy self care took a backseat and I was left with stretch marks. That was 3 years ago. While I've only been using the Elemis Camellia body oil for a few weeks now, it has drastically improved the texture of my skin AND pretty much erased my 3 year old stretch marks. While I can't vouch yet whether it prevents stretch marks, I'm a huge fan of what it has already done for my skin.
There were mixed reviews about this product, especially around scent. To be honest I spent more money in the hope for a more spa like scent as well as quality product for my growing bump. There is just a hint of a scent, when you smell your hands afterwards you get a good whiff but doesn't leave a general aroma.
Ok so hear me out as to why this miracle oil gets 2 stars… The cap and the bottle. The itty bitty fidly cap, so tiny that it slides off your oily fingers. The oil is delicious and I have yet to see if it is working on my stretch marks, but so far so good. But when the glass bottle is already oily and you have to fiddle with the tiniest little cap, it gets very difficult to use calmly! Definitely not for those with arm problems. Please, for the love of everything dear, can't this be a simple pump bottle? Or even a bigger cap?? PLEASE. This is the only reason I could not buy it again
