ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm 3.5 oz

I was able to try this product over a year ago at a coworking space. They had samples in the women's restroom and postcard for a discount off of your first purchase. I grabbed a couple samples to try at home and "lost" them in my apartment. I thought these samples would be great for traveling or camping. Well about 3 weeks ago I found the "lost" samples. I tried about half of the sample size for one washing and was amazed at how good the cleansing balm felt. I tend to have sensitive skin and break out fairly easily so I usually avoid anything with an oily base or feel. This cleansing balm surprised me. It's both creamy and oily when applied. I was worried after washing that my skin would have an oily feel but it didn't. My skin felt clean, soft, and plump. Areas where I usually felt I had a few wrinkles show around my eyes or between my eyebrows seemed softer more relaxed. My skin was so soft, brighter, firmer. It made applying make up look so much better. I saved a couple samples for my mom and got her hooked as well. So naturally for Mother's Day I picked up the 100g jar for her and me. She lives in Temecula where it can get really hot and dry in the summer with evening breezes. I knew this balm would be the perfect cleanser for her.

I had a travel size which I really loved, the texture felt wonderful on my skin and was great at removing my eye makeup. I recently bought a larger size and I wouldn't class this as a balm but more of a cream cleanser, the scent isn't as nice and I am disappointed with it, not sure why this is different.

Facial CREAM was delivered instead of CLEANSING BALM that was ordered. I cannot recommend a product that I did not receive. Also, the item that was delivered required a signature, which I was not made aware of when ordering. Who is going to wait all day to sign a delivery for face soap?
