This product saved me!!! I am 37 but the skin under my eyes was so dry (no matter what i used) in turn led my under eye to stay permanently wrinkled!!!!! Aging me by a few years. I used day and night everyday and noticed a difference on day 7!!! This product is just wow!!!!! I also use the elemis eye strips (2 times a week). HEEELLLOOOO new me!!. Yes it is pricey....but IT WILL last months...really worth it.
Does exactly what it says. Reduced puffiness, lightened dark circles, and tightened up the skin beneath my eyes. Had upper eyelid surgery with complications that caused skin under my eyes to stretch. This product is a big relief for me because my husband noticed an improvement right away, which means no more eye surgery!
Have used these products for a year already and they are just brilliant. The skin under and around my eyes looks fresh and bright and the dark circles virtually non-existent. The roller is fab for reducing puffiness. Lasted a year so a new supply has just been purchased!
Absolutely amazing product , I have always struggled to find a product that actually does what it says and this certainly does, the area around my eyes is so much smoother, fine lines almost disappeared, deep wrinkles/Crows Feet much softer, no dark circles or puffiness now and have only been using for a few weeks I'm impressed, the amount of product used morning & night is tiny (less is more) & works amazingly, even my husband noticed and asked what I'd done as I looked good.
I love the night cream, beautifully soft and creamy and I can really see a difference in my lines and wrinkles, Love it. However I am not keen on the morning cream and as such have stopped using it as it just doesn't sit right on the skin under my eyes once applied and under make up looks awful and flakey?! I want to purchase the night eye cream again but not the day eye cream. Can I purchase this separately?
I am on my second purchase and only bought it again because I love the night cream. It helps with fine lines and seems to keen the delicate eye area hydrated. The morning serum though is really unpleasant. It is sticky to the touch and I have had several people say to me “what's that stuff around your eyes!” as it looks white and flaky even using a tiny amount. I am seriously considering whether I can justify the cost for one pot to be unused. If sold separately I would definitely buy the night cream. Seems like lots of people are saying the same so hopefully Elemis will listen, unless they are happy for us to continue to pay for both but waste one. All my skincare routine is Elemis and I love it but the eye products generally I find disappointing.
I have had this product for a few months now and, while impressed with the night eye cream, I can't wholeheartedly recommend this purchase. The day cream is very poor and in my opinion should be removed from Elemis's product line. It leaves a horrible residue around the eyes and does not feel nice on the face. Its anti-aging benefits may be good, but that counts for nothing if the product is unwearable. I now just use the night cream for night and day, which is poor considering how expensive this is. I love other Elemis products but this one's a bad apple.
The morning eye cream seemed to dry my eye tissue out and glue big creases in my skin. I'm so confused. I expected beautiful and lucious eye cream for this price. It was awful.
I've used Elemis for the best part of 20 years and have always taken eye skin care particularly seriously, being prone to dark circles & dehydration - not to mention laughter lines. Having read early rave reviews I bit the bullet on the price and ‘invested' in this duo. Because of the hype, and also because of my experience to date with Elemis products, my expectations were pretty high and I even took photos of my eye area before I started using the product. As others have said, it was immediately clear that the day cream left a residue akin to egg white & left my eye area feeling tight and dry. In comparison, the night cream appeared initially more nourishing but it was hard to tell whether this was because my skin was so ‘thirsty'. Despite my initial doubts and the unexpected disappointment of having an Elemis product that I didn't immediately like, I stuck with it religiously for the ‘28 days', and a bit more (using the tool as instructed) to give it a good chance but to my dismay simply watched the skin around my eyes deteriorate. This was also whilst continuing to use the Advanced Eye Treatment, which I hadn't expected to need, but the rep on the counter strongly recommended that I did so. As a last resort I continued with just the night cream for another month (reverting to Eye Renewal for daytime) which unfortunately didn't improve matters. The skin around my eyes became dryer, crepey and saggy and after really taking care of my skin my whole life, for the first time I felt I really looked my age and people kept commenting how tired I looked. Having spent so much on this product it was pretty galling to then have to replace it with my old faithful Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal. I was also convinced that the fragile area around my eyes was irreparably damaged. After about 3 months back on Eye Renewal, I still wasn't seeing much improvement so as a last resort have shelled out again (!) for the Pro-Definition contour cream to supplement my night time regime. Finally, 4 months down the line, I am beginning to see slight signs of recovery - thankfully - but after a lot of expense, 2 wasted jars of cream & a shedload of anxiety! Interestingly, my mum bought the same product at the same time as me and had exactly the same experience. It's the first time I've been so disappointed by Elemis, as it's been my staple regime since I discovered it, due to the fact that it refines & nourishes without being too rich and doesn't upset the balance of my skin. It's actually been very reassuring to see that others have had similar experiences with this product. It's certainly made me think twice about trying any of the many new ‘miracle' products that they seem to be churning out currently. Stick to what you're good at Elemis - quality skin care that is actually kind to skin & doesn't require a second mortgage to purchase!
My husband got this for me as a Christmas present on my request and I'm so disappointed he wasted his money. The day cream is awful, makes skin tight and leaves a crusty residue even using a small amount and makes lines appear worse. The night cream is perfectly pleasant but does nothing a rich moisturiser won't do and it doesn't absorb that well into the skin either. In short this is an exorbitantly priced product.
