Elevate Outdoor Folding Aluminum Tray Premium Cargo Carrier - 50in

I'm so glad I bought this. It folds up very easily and doesn't squeak even while I drive. I wish the delivery system had been better. I don't think many of the postal delivery people care much about their jobs because I received this with a dent even though it had been packaged properly.

Bought this mainly for vacations so we could still use the backseat in our Tahoe. Looks good and works very well. Very sturdy and doesn't wobble or rattle plus it's aluminum so it's lightweight and won't rust. It was also convenient on vacation to be able to just fold it up while not in use. My only complaint is that since it folds up it sticks out kinda far when in use

I wanted a ramp that could fold up, was aluminum on the basket but steel on the support, rated at 500 lbs, and large. This one does them all and is the only one I found that actually does. It's important to go with aluminum because this reduces stress to the vehicle and increases the amount of cargo you can carry, also aluminum doesn't bend which can happen with the steel baskets. Aluminum is the perfect material for this application and very underrated in general. My wife is able to fold it upright herself easily, and I can remove it and carry it to storage without trouble when we're not using it. None of that would be true if it weren't aluminum. It's very sturdy and it does everything I had hoped for. Bonus: the bottom edges provide a perfect bungee hook spot. It's a nice piece of equipment that will obviously last many, many years. I'm including this review as part of a #sweepstakes but I was planning to leave it anyways. Quality is hard to come by and this carrier feels like true, premium quality. Very happy.

I installed it on the back of my 23' pull behind camper for my generator. It was suggested that I would get a porpoising effect. I knew I most likely wound not because of my tongue which made it just fine. Great product.

Maiden voyage was successful. Aligning the carrier into the 2" hitch was fun in that you cannot see the SUV 2" hitch , therefore the order for a hitch extender to improve that tissue. Instructions could more explicit regarding some reference to pulling the rubber tee at the rear to fold the carrier. Trial and error found it's function. Locking pin, once understood, binds the bar well and therefore no shake and rattle as with others. Initial impression is good.

Compared this tray to MANY others before purchasing. Pros: actual tray is lightweight, 60" wide, has reflectors and folds up when not in use. Cons: unit is very heavy (due to steel bar that supports it), tray wobbles a little, steel rusted when exposed to light rain and the mechanism to fold and unfold it is a little hard to "trigger". Used this tray to transport a couple hundred pounds of college gear 450 miles and things went very well.

Handy fold up feature. Rack constructed of aluminum with heavy duty steel underbody and hitch connector. I would rate the design a 5 and workmanship a 3. Aluminum welds are highly visible and questionable quality.

I would've gave it 5 stars but I haven't used yet. It was easy to put together, only 2 pieces and fairly light weight
