e.l.f. Contouring Brush

I am really impressed by this brush. Its great quality and makes makeup application easier.

I am a newbie to contouring and this brush helps with the process soooo much!! It is soft yet dense and fits perfectly in the hollow. The flat edge adds the perfect line and then the broader top blends like a dream! ELF makes such great affordable products.

I don't actually do any of the fancy makeup stuff, but this brush is perfect for applying sunscreen, especially if you use the Asian products. I find that I'm able to apply 2 slightly thinner coats evenly on my face, and it is much easier to apply sunscreen on my neck and dec using this instead of twising my wrist around. I keep several of them just for this so that I can rotate and clean them with good drying time between uses. I've also heard, but cannot verify, that very young children make less of a fuss when sunscreen is applied to their faces this way. I've tried a few other brands and styles of brushes for this, but this one is by far the best.

The brush is great for contouring and blending. I feel like I have total control of how I want the final effect to be because the brush is firm enough yet blends everything so well.

I had a product that came with a small brush. One comment was disappointment in the included brush. So I ordered this brush at the same time. So glad I did!

Now if you like a sharp contour like me this is the best brush ever. The shape of it just makes it so easy to blend and pick up product and just makes you look ssssnnnnatched.

whenever they put the brush on the whats new area, i ordered it and it just came today! i was waiting for elf to come up with good contouring brush like nars because they use synthetic bristles. this one is so soft to be synthetic though and i was like hmm i hope this is not real hair but i don't think it is. if anyone from E.L.F team sees my comment can you please answer if it is synthetic? like i said i just received my order and i cannot wait to use the brush!

I bought this about two weeks ago now, along with the contour palette, and I have to say, this could very well be the best, if not certainly one of the best contour brushes on the market! I've tried multiple different contour brushes from various different brands both drugstore and high end, and in my opinion, this even beats my previous favorite, the Nars Ita Brush. The only thing you have to be aware of is that since the bristles are so densely packed, you don't want to use too much product on this brush at once, or you might end up with a giant brown streak on your cheek! Use with a light hand though, and your contour will never have looked better.

This brush is much much denser than I expected and I have trouble using it with one of my more "powdery" contour powder even with the lightest touch. However, I have the feeling this would work fantastically with a cream contour. The shape makes the application underneath the cheek bones very easy but is not particularly adapted to the other areas of the face (temples, forehead, nose etc..)
