e.l.f. Contouring Brush

I don't actually do any of the fancy makeup stuff, but this brush is perfect for applying sunscreen, especially if you use the Asian products. I find that I'm able to apply 2 slightly thinner coats evenly on my face, and it is much easier to apply sunscreen on my neck and dec using this instead of twising my wrist around. I keep several of them just for this so that I can rotate and clean them with good drying time between uses. I've also heard, but cannot verify, that very young children make less of a fuss when sunscreen is applied to their faces this way. I've tried a few other brands and styles of brushes for this, but this one is by far the best.

I wasn't much into contouring until I got this brush because it is easy to use and easy to blend. I use it for my jawline and it's PERFECT for sculpting the cheek bones. I agree that the nose is a little more difficult to contour with this, but if you're careful you can make it work.

I am a newbie to contouring and this brush helps with the process soooo much!! It is soft yet dense and fits perfectly in the hollow. The flat edge adds the perfect line and then the broader top blends like a dream! ELF makes such great affordable products.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago not having very high hopes but it was affordable so why not? I applied a small line (1-2 inches) of the product in the hollows of my cheeks and then I blended it upwards to get it the way I like it. The brush was oh so soft and fluffy so it was extremely easy to blend and the end result was so amazing!! I was so shocked at how awesome this brush applied my contour and it is definitely worth trying out I 100% suggest this brush

I have a lot of brushes, all kinds, all prices, all makes. I think it's important to have a large variety of brushes (sizes & shapes). I "LOVE" this Elf contouring brush. I use the brush with the Elf dark concealer palette, for deep contouring. The concealers stay in place and last all day. I have had zero shedding from this brush, it cleans easy, it's soft but solid and it has the perfect shape

I use this with powder or cream-to-powder (like elf's Aqua line) products to countour my face. This brush works great. It can pick up A LOT of powder if you are not careful. I find I just need to press the brush gently into the powder to get enough product. I swirled it around the first time I used it and looked like a zebra, thank god for blending! The brush washes very well. I have washed it a number of times and is still in perfect condition.

If you're not experienced at contouring this makes it pretty fool proof. I use this to apply the e.l.f cream contour (from the palette) and it blends so nicely. The shape lends itself to pretty fool-proof placement, too. I sometimes see other reviewers complaining about bristles falling out, especially after cleaning their brushes. I haven't experienced any of those issues and I've washed this brush a number of times. I get it damp, gently "washboard" it along my fingers with a drop of hand soap, rinse extremely well (this takes forever to rinse out!), then gently swirl it on a fluffy towel to get rid of the excess moisture. I then let it air dry hanging off my towel rack with the bristles pointing downward (I fix it to the towel rack using a rubberband). This contour brush beats my MAC contouring brush by a long shot in the "ease of use" department and is a fraction of the price. I actually get more shedding from my MAC brushes.

I bought this brush years ago and I love using it to chisel my jawline with. I can also quickly contour my nose with it in a pinch. I don't find it works well for contouring the rest of my face though. I have washed this brush more times than I can count and have had no problems with it shedding.

I had just bought my first cream contour palette and was very excited to use with my new contour brush. The first time I used it the hairs of the brush began to fall out. I thought oh maybe I'm pushing too hard, nope because every time I have used this brush at least 20 hairs will fall out in clusters. I do not recommend this brush to anyone.

I received this 1 week ago and have been using to apply cream contour. I wash it after every use. It has been shedding worse than any other brush I've owned before. Bristles have been coming out in clumps! My poor brush now looks like a toddler who gave herself a haircut. I can't believe what's happened! That aside, the brush is so soft. When I started using it, it picked up product and applied evenly. I am so disappointed that it is falling apart so soon.
