I picked this product up when I had ran to the store for something quick. I usually buy my mascaras at Ulta but I had ran out and the closest store was an hour away. I grabbed this one and the plumping mascara and I did not end up disappointed. These products cost an eighth of what my namebrand stuff does and it did just as well. Not only did it hold up all night at the club but my lashes looked amazing. Definitely recommend
I have the black one from elf. I saw they had a white I was very happy. It is perfect for my brushes in every way. The two dividers on the outside help separate the brushes so I can really see what I have. This way I can make sure that my brushes are staying away from each other a little more. With it being white it make it seem just a little brighter at my makeup stations. I am thinking of getting one more just for the rest of my brushes.
I'M SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS. MY BRUSHES ARE WELL ORGANIZED IN A STYLISH MANNER. THE LEFT AND RIGHT COMPARTMENT HAVE A DIAGONAL SLOT TO SEPARATE BRUSHES. PERFECT FOR SHADOW VS. EYELINER BRUSHES OR BLUSH VS. FOUNDATION ETC. COMBO'S ARE UNLIMITED. IT HOLDS ALL MY BRUSHES ROUGHLY 25 AND I STILL HAVE ROOM.
I bought this brush holder in white a few weeks ago. It's fantastic! The diagonal separator's are great for small brushes plus other stuff. I use one side for my facial brush (mia clarisonic), one for small everyday brushes, on the opposite side I use it for mascara, lip & eyeliner pencils, and a hand mirror. In the center I have my bigger face brushes. It keeps it all organized well and in easy reach without knocking things over. I love it! The quality and aesthetic of this holder is also impressive. It looks stylish on a bathroom counter.
When purchasing, I assumed the difference between the mascaras was just the wand, and that all of the formulas were the same. I was wrong. What the description doesn't tell you is that this mascara has those little hair-like fibers in it that help you build your lash length. It didnt do much to give me volume or give the appearance that my lashes were thicker, but they really made them long, while still pretty natural-looking. The amount of product on the brush was good and I was able to control how much product I applied by the way I pulled the wand out of the tube. I will say that this mascara does leave a stamp on your eyelids if it gets wet, which I would assume means it is not waterproof, but it does take a little more time to remove than a regular mascara. It removes like a waterproof mascara. But for 3 dollars, this doesn't phase me. I personally loved the look I achieved with this mascara, but I knew that it would not be for everyone. A lot of people get frustrated with products like this, give up, and write an angry review just because its different from anything they've used before and don't exactly know how the proper way to use it. But the way you apply it is KEY. Anyone can have bomb lashes with this mascara, as long as you apply it the right way. It makes a difference if you use lash primer before the mascara, or if you use a different mascara to give them a base coat to help keep the fibers from clumping. Applying slowly and in back and forth motions will give you the lashes you're looking for with this mascara and the results are beautiful. I highly recommend giving this one a chance! You'd be missing out for this price.
I. Love. This. This is my 2nd ELF mascara and my first time using this particular one. The wand does exactly what it says - lengthens and my lashes come out thinly coated, separated, and not clumpy. I definitely recommend two coats for full effect. So happy with this product.
I'm all up for long, voluminous lashes so when I saw "Lash Extending Mascara" I couldn't wait to try it. Unfortunately, it does absolutely nothing for my lashes. Which is very surprising. I have fairly long lashes and any drug store mascara I buy (literally ANY) has a decent effect because naturally, my eyelashes are long. However, with this, I felt like there was barely any product on the wand (different from it being dry in my opinion) and at the very best, it just made my eyelashes a little blacker. It wasn't too clumpy, but there was nothing lengthening or fuller about my lashes whatsoever. Disappointed as I was excited to try this, but as I received this as a gift, I'm not annoyed as I didn't pay for it. (This isn't the first mascara I've tried from ELF either. Unfortunately, I don't ever have any luck with them, so I think I will be sticking to Boots!)
Disappointed with this product. The wand looked like it would give nice definition to my lashes but sadly there was barely any product to apply. Maybe I got a bad batch but this mascara was so dry I could barely even see a difference to my lashes. Tried using three times before binning as there was very little product coming out. Would not recommend.
I started using this before Xmas and do not have a good word to say. The mascara does make my lashes longer, however it is thin and needs at least 3 coats to be even noticable. It has this magical ability to literally crumble off my lashes all the way down to my cheeks, however, when I want to take it off, micellar water is unable to remove it, have to wash my eyes with hot water to even attempt taking it off. Now I know why I buy Lancome normally!
I received this as a free gift. The first one was so dry it did nothing. So ELF sent me another and it's not much better. It actually deposited something on my lashes but I didn't see any difference really. Very disappointed. I noticed someone asked the question as to whether this is the way it's supposed to be but ELF didn't answer. Nice !!!!
