Bought this about a month ago and love it. It's rare to find a lipgloss that genuinely isn't sticky and yukky when you put it on. It has enough pigment to look nice as just a gloss but also looks really nice over a lipstick. I use mine with nyx monte carlo matte lip creme and it's really nice.
I used to work as an executive trainer for Christian Dior so imagine my surprise that this little company exceeded my expectations. Wow and then some! I am saving SO much money without sacrificing quality.
I originally bought the red colour, and it was the most pigmented, comfortable, and affordable gloss I have ever bought. You don't even need a red lipstick underneath, it is complete on its own. I bought three more colours because if you like lipgloss, YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT!
The pigmentation of these glosses is phenomenal! I'm happy with every one I bought, the colors are stunning the packaging is great quality and the applicator allows you you to make precision lines on your lips as well as filling them in! The only downside in my opinion is the taste, it tastes like overpowering vanilla but for the price it's well worth it!! Absolutely stunning!
These are sort of like lip creams or a hybrid in between that and gloss. They have a load of pigmentation and the colors are gorgeous! I hope "Luke" comes back in stock and I already have duplicates of all of these, I wear them a ton and I'm pretty picky. I love Brett and Michael is a fabulous berry tone. My only qualm is that they need more colors and the applicator should be more sturdy. I just hope they keep these and make more colors!! Love love love!!! One of my all time favorite budget products! I get tons of compliments on this and people asking me about what lip product I'm wearing - I promote it as much as I can
I also have elf's other contouring brush like this, the flat one. I don't get the point of the shape of this one because it seems to perform the same as the other one (I think this one might be a little gimmicky). That said, this brush performs very well and I would recommend it. Just don't bother getting both, unless you need a backup for brush shampoo day.
i purchased these on a whim and didnt have very high expectations for them at all. when i swatched them and applied them to my lips, oh..my..goodness, they are SUPER pigmented, probably the most pigmented glosses in my collection, more than alot of my high end brands, especially the red shade, its so pigmented that i could wear it on its own and call it a glossy lipstick. i will definately be buying every color. A++++++
I love the formula of these, very creamy, smooth, and moisturizing with good color payoff. But in all of the shades I have, there is a lot of gold glitter in them that gets left on the lips when the gloss wears off. If they didn't have glitter in them, they would be my all time favorite lip gloss!
I generally will not stray away from a lip balm since my lips easily become irritated and flaky if I use most lip products (pigmented gloss, lipsticks, stains, you name it). These lip glosses not only felt amazing on my lips the colors I got Brett, Luke, and Michael were phenomenal on me and didn't travel nor apply unevenly. BUT, the sponge tip applicator broke off on ALL 3 glosses and my heart was broken (I even was super gentle since I read other reviews that said the same thing), I ended up depotting them into another container but it was a mess and I couldn't get most of the product out. Even if you twist off the sponge tip and keep using reusable wands you are only creating more waste for the landfills. Dang, I would've kept buying these glosses if it wasn't for the applicator. I only rated this product average because it's a great texture/color but horrible packaging.
I was excited to try this lip gloss based on all of the good reviews, so I ordered it along with a few other things. It came today and when I went to unscrew the cap - the doe foot part of the applicator broke off and sunk into the bottom of the lip gloss container. It's hard to review a product you can't try - but if this is the quality of the lip glosses I'll spend my money elsewhere.
