e.l.f. Eye Contour Brush

Packs on colour brilliantly, I mostly wear jet black eyeshadow and this gets the job done. To think of the time I've wasted piling on eyeshadow before I bought this brush...

This brush is quite bigger than the width of a wooden pencil so it's not small, and looks really fluffy at first but does have a nice density at the point so you can really give defined application with the tip of the bristles.

Buy this right now and all the other great studio line brushes. They are all great!!! I can't even compare this to other brushes I've bought for the price! I'm picking up 2 more. They are great for getting into the crease to deposit some color to make your eyes look bigger. They are soo perfect for doing a smokey eye look too. I really love this brush I just used it with my coffee bean studio eyeshadow. The website doesn't show it's roundness and fullness. But, yes it's small but round and full and soft.

This brush is a staple for me when applying eyeshadow in the socket/crease. The size and shape are ideal for the crease and the synthetic fiber is soft. As such with any makeup brush, the brush washed with and allowed to dry on a flat surface and not vertically.

This is my first ever eye brush from ELF, and I like using this! The brush helps me create ombré and cut crease designs! The design overall is very good: the contour brush is very sturdy and easy to control. Works well with both dry and wet eye-shadow~

This brush rocks. Totally. It's perfect for doing contouring shadow colors in the crease of your eyes. It's almost a no-brainer, really. Good quality brush (they beat BE brushes HANDS DOWN), great price, doesn't shed, and makes my job a LOT easier. Here's a tip I found on YouTube: do your contour shade with your eyes OPEN. Yeah, I know, it's natural to close them, but doing it that way allows you to see exactly where the contour shadow is going, you don't "lose" the color once the eye is open. And it helps make your eyes stand out more. One other tip: put your contour shadow on in a windshield wiper fashion: back and forth, building the color. Then you can go back over it with your C brush to blend it all together. I love ELF brushes!

I bought this recently with a few other elf brushes to start a small eyeshadow brush collection. I love this brush and it has definitely become a staple brush! Great quality and picks up the product well. I like the stiffer bristles on this brush as well. I highly recommend this brush, its great for beginners as well!

I just received this brush in the mail today and I will be purchasing a couple more of these brushes for back up. This brush is not only good for contouring the eye but it can also be used for applying color to the lid of the eye our color to the entire eye. This brush picks up the color instantly the brush touches the product. Love it!

I simply don't understand any of these the bad reviews I've read. This is a great brush. A eyeshadow brush has to be soft and this one is definitely soft. Plus, because it has just the right density and shape, it contours the crease perfectly. I will never spend $$$$$$ for a contour brush again.

Overall I LOVE this brush but it's not a contour brush, at least not what I expected, maybe for a very precise-deep V, but thats about it. This brush is more like a pencil brush, which is what I use it for, and it works great. I've had no shedding, and I've washed it over 20 times, its still very soft. The only problem I have with it is that it's to long to fit into the E.L.F studio brush case, so it's very difficult to travel with, but maybe it's just my brush I've noticed differences in some of the same brushes. ( Theyre not all exactly the same)
