e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer, Large

I've tried pretty much all the primers ELF have to offer and have to say this is the best one! Yes it isn't the best smelling (can only smell it when applying) but if you can look past this minor detail this is perfect value for money! Just about to purchase my 3rd bottle!! well worth it, no breakouts not flakey, doesn't make your face look wet it just gives you a natural glow I love it!

Never had used primer bought this and applied it and instantly my skin just soaked it in leaving it healthy and replenished loved it right away i am a believer

my nose is the most driest part on my face and when i get ready to do my every day glam i use this day and night and have my skin feeling so flawless ! it's a must !

I usually use an expensive brand but since money was tight and e.l.f. is usually a good quality to replace, I tried this hydrating primer and it was great. It kept my skin nice and moist and makeup did not cake. I love it. I will keep buying this product.

It's a daily must have for me . Hydrating my face without the oily shine . Leaves a smooth texture to my face . Love this stuff.

I bought this a while back now and i fairly regularly go back to it, mainly because it does exactly what I need it to. Its a simple product, Elf rely on their products to do the talking rather than their packaging and I have to say it does live up to its hype. It has no scent which i like and feels really smooth upon application. Definately soothed my super dry skin and made my makeup sit well without clinging to dry patches. I would say if you're using over moisturiser definately let the moisturiser settle first or else this will pill on top but that's the only reason its not 5*

I wore this primer on it's own for 2 days with my usual cleansing and moisturizing routine morning and night. A day after wearing it i noticed small bumps across my face, especially my forehead, and a minor breakout. I saw this as a coincidence and continued to wear it the second day. Unfortunately, it only got worse within a couple of hours with more breakouts and redness. By this point i felt that it was caused by the product, so i stopped wearing it, or any other makeup product, and let my skin recover- which took a month. Recently i tried it again only to have the same problem, so now i'm pretty certain this product was the reason.

I LOVE ElF PRODUCTS but this one was a huge flop for me. I have severely dry skin and I thought this would help my makeup was separating and felt greasy affff, I would touch my face slightly throughout the day and I could feel the grossness on my hands linger and I kept having to wash it off my hands, and don't get me started about my poor brushes, I had to deep clean them right after. im so sorry guys. but this product isn't it.
