e.l.f. Main Stain Lip Marker, Balletcore, 0.034 fl oz

Wow, I used this as a lip liner, then used a cherry cola colored lip stain to fill in my lip color, allowed everything to dry, then covered in my usual Buda Butter balm. Looks beautiful, and this lip liner really sticks! Even after the stain wore off from eating and drinking, this liner was still there. No weird makeup taste. Will purchase again and possibly in other shades. Do recommend to others, especially for the price to quality ratio.

The color is darker than I was expecting. I bought one of the lighter colors, Rose Macaron. It was one of the lighter colors other than tan. Yuck! The pink color is too blue, I have to be careful of that.

I've been testing out the shade Hotvine every day for about a week now and I've already bought two other shades. Obviously, there are a lot of lip stain liners/markers on the market now & I own quite a few. I do prefer this one over the Huda Beauty one because of the precise tip, these markers usually have a tendency to bleed outside the line of application but because the ELF tip is so slim, I'm able to get a more defined result. I'm also able to turn it on its side to make the line thicker if I want to fill my lips in, which is a plus. I have not noticed it drying out, as some other brands do by this point. I think storing it upside down is best. This is also less than half the price of the NYX lip liner stain and in this economy, that is one of the most important things to me when considering different brands for ultimately the same product.

I adore this. It lasts all day. I get Molten Chocolate (i doubt the lighter shades will last as long) (Also it's more of a muted dark purple than a cool brown idk). I also put another lip liner over it, unless it's a lazy day. Really easy to smudge out. Really really good option and for a really good price. Cheapest lip stain marker I've found that actually has darker cool tones that aren't bright berry/red)

I purchased this on a whim as a girl who loves lip stains. The formula, weird smell included, reminds me of a stain I used in 2008 that I loved. I got the Rose Macaron color and it's the perfect pink for an everyday look. My only real complaint is that it seems pretty dried out after 3 uses and it no longer draws a line on the narrow side.

Pros: The color is perfect, the stain stays all day long, great pigment, the first few applications flawless. Doesn't dry lips, dries to a natural finish. Cons: After the first few applications, the applicator no longer works well. Possible to get some coverage with effort but difficult to not get blotchy coverage as you need to press down hard to get color then spread it as quickly as you can.

AWFUL! I tried three purchases. One MAUVELO, Two BALLET CORE. The pens were DRY! Only MAUVELO had enough product for 1 - ONE application. The 2 BALLET CORE pens did not have enough products to cover my lips once. Walmart refunded me for the 2 BALLET CORE pens. What a waste of time. I kept trying! I think ELF should organize their elves and sell a product that works! ...never again I'll stick with FENTY.

I wanted to try this new lip stain, so I got Balletcore as I've not seen a baby pink lip stain before. It looked dark pink on my lips. I thought maybe I'd give it time to dry down. No change. Don't recommend, not this color anyways. Maybe the other ones will be nicer. The pen is very thin, so this works well as a lipliner.
