e.l.f. Mascara

I'm the type of person who can never throw a makeup product out. Even if it is terrible, I will find a use for it. This mascara i hated on my lashes. It was clumpy, made them stick together, smeared, and I just didn't like it at ALL as a mascara. Even though it was SUPER cheap, I couldn't make myself throw it out. I have found a great use for it now! I have super dark brown, basically just black hair. I fill in my eyebrows like normal, and then instead of using a clear brow gel/mascara, I just sweep a TINY TINY bit of this across my brows. It adds the finishing touches to my brows. It keeps my brows in place all day, and even adds just that dab of extra colour. As a mascara, dont buy this, but for your brows, it works for me!

I'm not sure why so many don't like this product. I'm ordering 5 tubes right now and have been using it since ELF first came out. I have long lashes and have found that both the waterproof and non are perfect. I had to stop using the waterproof everyday since it was drying out my lashes, but I can wear the normal all day without smearing. Also, the fact that they are only [$] doesn't make me feel so bad about tossing them when I should. I heard that a lot of women don't throw out their makeup long after it has expired. Also, the waterproof is so strong I can swim in it. I am getting married in June, and will be having my makeup lady use this mascara.

I wear contact lenses, and this stuff doesn't irritate my eyes. I used to have issues with flaking, until I figured out a trick: I love a certain high-priced brand of mascara that "tubes" around your eyelashes- removal involves warm water, and the tubes slip off each individual lash. However, it's not a drugstore brand, it's EXPENSIVE, and dries out quickly. However, elf to the rescue! One morning I applied this mascara using 1 coat from the regular side, then a coat of waterproof on top. When I washed my face that night, little mascara tubes slipped off my lashes. I've tried it a couple of times, and it works a like a charm. Love it!

I bought this because I wanted waterproof mascara for swim season and this was the cheapest but it doesn't work well at all. The mascara always comes out around the rim when you unscrew it and there is always a bunch of excess on the brush. It works in a pinch but nothing compared to other brands.

The whole thing dried out pretty quickly and the mascara basically gave me spidery-looks. Maybe its because of my hard-to-work-with-lashes but it definitely lengthened it.. I guess for a dollar its pretty fine. I'd just rather get something worth 5 times more for 5 times more the money.

Bought this mascara and was so disappointed when it arrived it was dry and clumped had trouble getting thw wand out of the tube from reading reviews it appears this is an issue for most customer.

This mascara was a sticky, gloopy mess. When I pulled the applicator out, part of the inside of the container came out! Yes, it was that sticky. Horrible product and a waste of money.

I purchased two tubes because I was so excited about the price and the black/brown color. Both tubes were dry and clumpy. When I took the wand out of the waterproof side the whole container came with it.

Completely dried up. Useless

The massacre had gone hard, you can tell it had been sat in the warehouse for years.
