Use existing cardboard box to keep its shape
It worked well with our 6 foot tree without the need for using the straps. We did what I read on another similar product and that was to put our original box inside the tote so it holds it shape.

It's worth every penny!
Very sturdy and large! i have 1- 7 1/2 foot tree and 2- 3 goot trees in the bag and still have enough room left in it.

This bag is extremely large and I think a 9 ft tree could fit in it. I needed a case for a 5 ft tree and since there weren't any available I decided to try this bag. Too large. Will return.

Not as pictured
If you look at the picture it shows a nice square canvas container for the tree it is anything but square. Very hard to manage.
