I bought this with a twitch payout because I needed some new lighting on my desk! This thing out does what I expected. It is well worth the money spent!
Powerful light with convenient software.
I bought 2 key lights a couple weeks ago and they were an incredible addition to my setup. They have added such great quality to my camera and saved me from buying a more expensive camera. I really don't know what I would do without them at this point. That added feature of being to adjust the lights with my stream deck is so incredibly vital! Overall so happy I decided to pull the trigger and get them!
I'm not a streamer but I have lots of work meetings. I reside in the US, but I have lots of meetings at night. These lights have been quite the life changer. Now I don't look like a creep in the dark. I also use this with the Stream Deck which makes changing settings on the light a breeze. There's no hardware button to adjust the light so make sure to have a stable WIFI connection.
I've been looking for a good Light for my Streaming Environment for a while and this is the absolute choice. Most other lamps generate too much heat, take up space, etc. The Keylight Air remains cool, is extremly space efficient and has multiple different stages and different color levels. Utilizing it in connection with the Streamdeck XL makes it even more comfortable.
I got the keylight air recently and I've been loving it. Befote this I'd be using cheap phone attachments lights for lighting which was annoying to setup and use. Thanks to the keylight air its been much better. It was easy to setup and the cable management channels are great too!
I've been using this for a few months for my home office, and I'm quite pleased with it. The light is powerful enough to illuminate me nicely for video conferences, yet not hard on the eyes. The default color temperature is quite good (and I say that as a long-time hobbyist photographer who tends to notice those things). The mount is pretty solid, except the ballhead construction is weird: When I want to take the light off the mount, the ballhead splits into two pieces. This makes it awkward to store and reassemble, so I would not want to use this for on-the-go photography. Fortunately, it's not an issue when used as an office lamp. I have attempted several times to connect the app, but it keeps failing. It would have been nice with a USB port for connecting manually, or a knob or two to adjust light/color. Alternatively, a light sensor to adjust the color to match the surroundings would make the app much less necessary - I don't like having apps for simple devices anyway.
I bought the key light air a week ago seldom used but was working fine. I noticed it stopped turning on but still connected to the control center. I did my best to troubleshoot and reset nothing happened. I connected the light air to a different power adapter and it worked fine. I am sure the key light air was great but the power adapter failed after less than 2 weeks is not a good impression on a premium product. The power adapter was so specific that I could not find any replacement. Am still looking for a replacement and do not want to got to hassle myself to send the whole product back and wait for more than a month just because of faulty power adapter.
I have been trying to reset the lamp and it just won't reset which means I am unable to control the light
i have tried to set this product up on my PC, iPhone & Mac. You need a 2.4GHz WiFi Network to set up and to consistently use them. WHO HAS A 2.4GHz WiFi Network anymore? So cheap to put those chips into these lights & they are expensive lights as well.
