I use these every spring/summer on my windows (inside). They're cheaper than the name brand and work exactly the same. I recommend these for anyone who gets flies/flying insects and certain types of bugs. They work waaaaay better than fly tape and you don't have to worry about getting your hair stuck, don't need to make a hole with a push-pin or put tape on walls/surfaces to hang them, and they're not unsightly. Because of being clear, they aren't super noticeable and don't obstruct sunlight. They're sticky enough to capture even the largest black house flies. These are easy to use. Read the simple directions first and make sure not to touch the sticky part. They lose their effectiveness with time, and as more and more flies take up space on the adhesive. So they need to be replaced every few months and/or as they get covered with flies. When you're done with it, simply peel it off and toss in the trash. PLEASE do NOT put products like this anywhere that they could come in contact with animals or children. The last thing you want is to come home after a long day of work and find one of these have been stuck to your cat's face/paws and they've been frantically trying to remove it for hours. This happened to a neighbor. The poor cat was terrified and caused himself injuries while trying to remove it. Then he was in a lot of pain when they removed it from his face and paw. It ripped off whiskers and fur. So please keep any kind of sticky/adhesive products far from pets and kids.
I have used these fly window trap for about a week. I had left the door open and a lot of flies came in. For days I tried to get rid of those pesky flies without any luck. After putting the fly traps in the window it was like a miracle. Within the next couple of days that fly trap was full of almost every fly.. The clear window trap is so easy to use. Just remove the thin strip on the back, press it in the window and remove the top sheet of paper. It sticks to the window easily and you can barely see where it is; it’s just that transparent. After it attracted the flies it was just as easy to remove. And just like that flies are gone.
I PUT IN 2 DIFF. WINDOWS AND IT WORKS. IT HAS A TAB ON BOTTOM TO HOLD WHEN PUT IN WINDOW REST OF IT IS STICKY. I EVEN PUT HALF OF ONE IN SMALL WINDOW ON DOOR AND I GUESS FLIES LIKE LIGHT CAUSE IT WAS FULL IN 3 DAYS BUT IT WAS ONLY 1/2 OF THE REGULAR ONE EASY TO REMOVE JUST PULL THE BOTTOM
Accidentally potted my plants incorrectly and got a fungus knat infestation. This helped once I repotted to ensure if any new knats emerged they were caught! Will buy again if I have too
man this works so well! so much more aesthetically pleasing than those unsightly fly ribbons that get caught in your hair and look just awful... but these stick ever so discreetly on the inside of your windowsill or dmside of lid or too of a door and it leaves behind no sticky residue and is so easy to remove and replace and very efficient as well , they stick immediately even. after 1 week of being up they still haven't lost their sticky in the side with the flies.
This is gonna sound really gross, but I must’ve had a bird or a squirrel die in the attic and I didn’t know about it until all the flies arrived. In the first 36 hours, these traps caught over 70 flies. I have not pulled them off the windows yet, so I don’t know how hard that’s gonna be or what kind of residue they might leave, but I’ll update if it’s nasty.
These Eliminator window fly sticky traps are wonderful. They catch flies but also those nasty little flying bugs (fruit flies) that are seen in a home. They are easy to apply to your windows and last a long time. These fly traps do a great job of catching many many many bugs before you have to replace.
Once I moved the to the actual plants that were being invaded by gnats it took a day to kill them all. Put one on my window too and I have already caught 5 flies in it, it one day.
If you live in the country, you know what a problem flying insects can be. This product is a great alternative to using fly tape hanging from your ceiling. It is easy to apply and remove. The side of the tape that you adhere to the window has a section that does not have adhesive making removal easy. I usually apply the tape in a corner of the window so it isn't as noticeable to the human eye. The insects still find it. You just replace the tape when you see that it is full.
These worked so much better at catching all our summer flies that keep getting into the house! The ribbon stuff was so messy and didn’t catch as many, but with flies always migrating to windows to “escape “ this is a brilliant idea that actually WORKS! I catch so many with this and put one in every window!
