I love this rice pot! It makes the best “sticky rice” ~ I use medium grain rice since it's the best for making sushi. I learned while living in Hawaii to place a light weight dish towel over the top of this type rice cooker. That keeps the steam and bubbles from getting on the countertop and occasionally burning you if you're too close. BUT be careful removing that cloth because it's VERY hot. I've used my rice pot every other day since I got it. (I like rice better than potatoes). Whatever you do, you should get a rice pot that's appropriate for your needs. I only make what I know I'll use in one or two days in this 6 cup cooker. So far I've only made two cups each time. Perfect for a single senior, lol!

i cant cook white rice worth nothin now my rice be like the Chinese store and i use jasmine rice also u can make different types of rice in their i thank its well worth it and my new best friend

This product was too small for my needs. I was assuming that this product was bigger. i have to re-order a bigger one.

Extreme poor quality. Feet are made of cheap plastic. Mine arrive with a broken foot. Very thin metal at the bottom. The portion that holds the rice is also very thin. This is only a 2.5 cup cooker. 3 cups would cause this to overflow. The cups in China are probably much smaller. Don't waste your money with this trash.

Dont waste your money, it doesnt cook your rice, its not fluffy, either rice is hard as a rock or one big clump.
