Elite Cuisine MST512 8.5Qt. Stainless Steel Programmable Slow Cooker with locking lid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used maxi-matic products before, but not their 8.5 qt programmable stainless steel slow cooker. It's beautiful! The outside is very modern looking. It has easy to use features that include a handy time set, and warm, low and high settings. The stoneware pot is easy to remove and clean. The instruction book came with some great recipes too, like Italian meatballs and chicken merlot w mushrooms! I was excited to try a few new recipes. The size of the slow cooker makes it easy to cook family size meals, or freezer meals! Easy to use, clean and store! I highly recommend this slow cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a wonderful slow cooker. it is a nice large size and i absoultly love the timer. it shuts off to warm once it is done cooking. i made a pot roast and it cooked perfectly on high. it was tender and delicous and the vegetables were tender and perfect as well. i cant wait to use it again and try other products from this brand.

I have plenty of room for meals to fit my family's needs. It has a timer so I don't cook my meals too long and they are perfect every time. Way bigger and better than my last slow cooker. Easy to clean and operate. Absolutely love my new cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love to cook and this little machine has helped sooo much and it cooks it just perfect I love the timer which is accurate and how I can look inside the slow cooker while its cooking with the clear top on top of it so if your looking for a good slow cooker I would definitely recommend you give this one a try you will not regret it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love most about this crockpot is that it has three different temperatures you can use. I also love that when setting the time, it goes in half hour increments. Some crockpots only give you 4, 6 or 8 hour options but you can set this one for the exact amount of time you want, which is great. The ceramic insert is super easy to clean and very heavy duty. It's also dishwasher safe, which is a win in my book every time! I've cooked a couple of meals in it and it's cooked evenly both times, so I'm a happy mom! It makes meals quick and easy and I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Elite Platinum 8.5 qt Stainless Steel Digital Slow cooker is huge, and looks super sleek setting on the counter! I cooked a very large chuck roast with all the fixins in it this weekend, and there was still plenty of room left! It heated quickly, and was simmering away even on low in no time. The digital settings are easy to read and operate, but I found a couple of small flaws. It turns itself completely off at the end of the timer setting, and I really wish there was an option for it to turn to warm when the timer went off. What if you are late coming home because of an emergency, and now your food has been turned off for hours and is ruined. Unlikely I know, but still possible. Also there isn't a way to not set a timer. You can adjust the time of course, but no way to turn it off completely. It goes up really high though, so you can plan ahead and adjust is for way longer than you think you might be. Not a major flaw, just something I thought about. Other than that this thing is awesome though! I really like how the lid fits so well. My other slow cooker the lid was wonky, and half the time I would notice it wasn't completely flush. My roast turned out super tender, and it was easy to clean up! I use a slow cooker at least once a week, and I see this one being part of my kitchen for a very long time to come!

It does the job, but it lacks many of the bells and whistles that would make it really a preferred addition to your kitchen. There is no programmable timer, steam vent, or locking lid for travel. The best feature of the crock pot is the depth, it's great for larger roasts or other things that need more space.
