Elite Gourmet 1.2L Adjustable Temperature Electric Honeypot Glass Kettle with Keep Warm, Mint

This has been a game changer for me. I love chai tea and this instant coffee from Whole Foods. I can have it in less than 3 minutes. I also did my kitchen in mint green and it looks great Don't hesitate in getting this. I love that it comes to a boil full rolling boil and the turns off but keeps it warm. I love the color blue that it produces when it is heating up. I only wish it was a night light when plugged in. It is worthy of five stars 100 percent

only downside is its hard to get to a specific number on the dial, and the temperature guage isnt wide enough...like there arent enough temperature guages. it works well though

I bought this for my home office, in the green colorway, to match my other mini-appliances. The kettle works perfectly. I like that it not only boils water, but will keep the excess water hot as well. The only complaint I have is that the jettle does not hold a lot of water, like my main kitchen kettle that does 2 liters. Of course, that's the trade-off I'm willing to accept for the darling colorway!

I am beyond happy with this 1.2L Adjustable Temperature Electric Honeypot Glass Kettle with Keep Warm in Mint kettle. This is my third attempt at trying to find a kettle that I am satisfied with. When we were stationed overseas in England water kettles were in all the hotels and pubs we stayed in. I decided then and there that I would have one at home. It is so quick and easy to boil water for whatever you need hot water for. Couldn't bring the English one home as they are 230V and 50Hz, and would require a converter, which I didn't want to have to have. It has been difficult to try and find one equal to the British, but this one is certainly the next best thing. Although heavier than the British, it is glass, which is more to my liking since we have learned that anything plastic is emitting plastic bits into our bodies. This glass kettle heats quickly and can stay warm if I choose. I have been using this for several days and can't say enough good things about it. I hope that, in the near future, I don't have to eat my words. I have found that since Covid 19, nothing I have purchased seems to be made of the same quality previous to Covid. That includes most everything I have purchased. I do recommend this water kettle based on the several days I have used it.

Color ,Design and Base

I've had this kettle for around 4 months I use it every morning and have had no problem with it heating up my water for tea and oatmeal but I don't like that I'm unable to set the temperature that I'd like the water to heat to. When I've tried the to use the temp knob to get an exact temperature for different teas the kettle heats the water to the same temperature every time! What is the point of having the knob when it doesn't affect anything? Here is an excerpt from the product info: No need to worry about hovering over a kettle on the stove or stressing over a forgotten pot boiling over. Your kettle is equipped with boil-dry protection. If it starts heating without enough water in the unit, the heater will automatically shut off to avoid damaging the heating element. That description is false! The boil-dry protection is non existent, it doesn't automatically shut off but will heat the water, stop heating and repeat until you unplug the kettle. There isn't even an on/off switch. I'm simply not impressed with this electric kettle and would return it if I could.

I haven't been able to use the kettle because it doesn't come with washing instructions and I couldn't go online to read about it.
