Looks great works great with superb results
When I used it it was just the right size for 2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all try to be super healthy as senior citizens but there is nothing better for certain foods like a deep fryer and the Elite Gourmet 1.6 quart Deep Fryer is the perfect solution for our Coconut Shrimp and Southern Catish. I like the easy cleanup for this compact unit so I am not stuck cleaning an oil mess. The stainless steel basket sits on top of the tank easily and in ten minutes, we have our fried fish, chicken, or shrimp. Nothing smells like home like a fried meal and for the two of us, it is the perfect solution!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this deep fryer, perfect for chicken strips, nuggets, and even fish fillet sandwiches. I love that it's smaller and doesn't require as much oil or take up as much space. It also heats up really fast and very easy to clean up. I definitely recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this for a friend and she recommended so much that I had to get one for myself. Great fryer that easy easy to store and clean. I like how the setting are easy to choose and there are not unnecessary features that get confusing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this little fryer. We are a family of 3, so it is the perfect size for us. Fries, wings, mozzarella sticks, doughnuts.....you name it. It can handle it all! Gets a consistent outer crunch layer, but it maintains that inside tastiness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fryer, I didn't even expect it. Firstly, it is small in size, but it holds enough French fries to fry, in 2-3 times it can be fried for a whole family, it is easy to operate and quickly cooks. Secondly, it is very easy to assemble and clean, it is very convenient, I disassembled everything in parts and quickly washed it, good quality. Thirdly, it doesn't take up much storage space, and it is convenient to take it with you, which is very cool. We really liked it, we will be happy to fry with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked using the Elite Gourmet stainless steel deep fryer because it is easy to use and does a good job at frying food such as fries, plantain and etc. I used it a couple of times to fry fries, chicken and etc it definitely exceeded my expectations with the quality of the fried food.
Good little fryer. It is very small, I guess it was my mistake reading the size, but it is good for 1 person households,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time I got a deep fryer. Prior to this I have been using a wok to deep fry food, and more recently an air fryer. While deep frying in wok definitely needs more oil than air frying, it used to serve my needs well. This deep fryer is well made, and includes all the instructions to use it for first timers like me. It is not very complicated to use it, but every bit of instruction helps especially when using a new gadget. I washed the washable parts and wiped the others and was ready to launch it in 15-20 mins. My experience frying some potato cakes was very similar to how I used to fry them in a wok before. This one looked more formal and more professional though. The results were similar to my previous method. The reasons for giving 2 stars less are: 1) It uses a lot more oil than what I used with a wok. And it's not because this is wider. It's just that a lot of oil goes below and around the element coil which heats the oil. So you end up needing lot more oil to cover the coils and then more on top. The stuff you want to fry is cooking in the "more on top" portion of the oil. 2) The basket for deep frying gets food stuck to it. While that happens when deep frying, because the basket is like a mesh, it is extremely difficult to scrape or scratch the stuck food out of it while frying. While the fryer is robust and works as designed, because of the 2 above issues, it's not something that I would use regularly. It might be more appropriate for commercial uses.
